  • the jesus and mary chain copy

  • The guitar at the begining could be considered "a spanish sound" but the brass instrument is not "more mexican" (not spanish at all, if you meant that).

  • I think this song may have 'inspired' My Iron Lung by Radiohead. Supposedly Radiohead were big Boo fans and C'mon Kids was a big influence on OK Computer in terms of them going for a new sound.

  • masterpiece.

    ace band

  • This album is an unheralded masterpiece.

  • the horns throw it sky high, LOVE it!! Boo FOREVER!!

  • @waydow89 Hey they are from Wallasey near Liverpool, United Kingdom. Amazing arent they?

  • Definitely a favorite song. Thanks for posting.

  • HAHA! All these years I thought the lyrics at 1:40 were some reference to martyrdom:

"Hey, I've made the board I need

    I've made the cross unclean

I've given all that I had,

Dear that's not enough I'm sorry

Dear that's not enough I'm sorry..."

I wasn't even close! Funny when you find out how different the words really are...

  • Any way you could send me a link? It's beautiful

  • the beginning sort

  • Damn, what a beautiful song.

  • Very good, but god damn that horn section, throws it all off.

  • An absolute MASTERPIECE

Ed Buller made miracles in the buttons...amazing song....

  • Very good song. If you like it, just give an ear to the Love 'forever chages' LP (issued in 1967)

  • You are not wrong. This is their best song from their best album. Been lookin to hear this for some time. Thanks.
