I see how Lady Gaga's case seemed stuck up. I honestly believe she wasn't just protecting her image (which in return hasn't gone so great, so far) but trying to protect her message. If you go to her shows you'll notice she talks a lot about her hatred of money. She might sing about it, but the message is that she rose to fame by telling herself she IS a superstar, and she eventually became one. Lady GooGoo represents a life of wealth and fame which is a reflection of gaga that she doesn't want.

@elliottonyt Good comment but if she hated money so much then she would give her wealth away but she dont, she would have her concert tickets priced so there is no profit to her and only covers her overheads such as price to her for the use of the venue, travel costs and to pay her crew and support musicians, it's easy to say one thing but actions always speak louder than words H&R
