  • i made this with tomato puree, and its a bit too soft, too much water, is there anything i can do to make it hard again? or do i just need to leave it curing for a few weeks?

  • @yahno You can try to re-cook it to evaporate off more moisture or you can try to cure it for several weeks.

  • I made this for my 7th grade teacher for Christmas and she was really happy thnx

  • Hey Bonnie, will you be making another batch for sale for your website =D, it looks so wonderful!

  • @BunniSoaps I will try and make another puree soap this year but my strawberries are pretty much done for the year. The blackberries are almost ripe so maybe I will do a blackberry soap. They are a late summer harvest. Next June the strawberries are back in. By the way, you can get a 2oz promo bar of this. I am giving them away with any purchase with code STRAWBERRYPATCH on my website while supplies last. If the coupon goes through then you get one. If it's rejected that means they are sold out.

  • It is very nice! I love that look..I am no good at hot process. Mine looks like its put together in wads lol! Maybe I don't cook it long enough or its not "wet" enough. Who knows! lol!

  • Looks great. Another good soap is blueberry purée. It is my fav milled. Luv ur soap. ;*

  • @sunshyneNrainxx That does sound great and reminds me I need to check on my blueberries.

  • My blueberries are not ripe yet. Seems like all my berries were late this year.

  • wow that is such a nifty idea. am excited to see the veggie one. carrots? oooo, squash.

  • Cool Bonnie that looks wonderful you make me want one with your video!!

  • That soap looks awesome and strangely edible lol!

  • Dang it bonnie, i want one! Pout!

  • @MyNaturesArt

I am donating the bars and hearts. I was planning to cut the remaining loaf into 2oz bars to add in with orders.

  • Oh wow, its looks so pretty!

  • @MyNaturesArt Thanks, Dani.

  • oops sorry Kim, thought I was replying to Dani LOL

  • Bonnie - this was fascinating for me to watch. So interesting to see the colour changes, thought they turned out incredible. I cannot believe how many things you got going on in your bath and body products, then the farm and of course a young family, I've NO idea how you do it all and get good sleep, I totally take my hat off to you! :-) x

  • @dianeuk01 lol, that is funny. No, I don't sleep as much as other people. I can only sleep for 5 or 6 hours at a time. Sometimes I take a nap when I need more sleep or sleep 8 hours in two or three shifts. Usually I go to bed at midnight, get up to let the cat outside at 3 or 4am and have another early morning sleep between 5 and 8am... but it varies, too. I don't keep any sort of regular sleeping schedule.

  • This was a bit experimental to use a fruit puree. When my veggies are ripe I plan to repeat the experiment with some veggies. Yes, the colors changed a lot throughout the process.

  • Awesome... I bet it feels wonderful on the skin! =)

  • @mrscrafty100 Thanks, Dani. I will let you know. I haven't tried it yet.

  • @mrscrafty100 I got to try a strawberry soap in the bath last night. It made my skin feel nice. I prefer my soaps to be scented but it does feel very nice.

  • Do you make laundry bar soap? I have the other ingredients to mix it with just don't want to make one lol want one that is already grated so dont have to grate it haha

  • @aobabinski

lol, I was thinking about making powdered laundry soap but I am waiting for my batch of liquid to run out. I have not decided on selling it or not.
