The CP "Express" train is a regular run done every day here in Canada. Because of the long distances between major cities it is cheaper to run trains full of trailers then to have individual trucks covering the same distance.

These are articulated flatcars, so the cars themselves can't be considered "individual cars," because they do not have two sets of trucks that belong exclusively to the one car. Instead, each flatcar is a "unit," which, when put together make up a "car." The split between cars is determined when there are 2 trucks in a row, which can also be said as, "2 trucks between the beds of each unit." Hope this cleared things up!
