  • When Barbara returned a few year agao, she was a drunk and a mess. They NEVER mentioned Laura's death as a cause of her downward spiral, but I choose to believe that it was. Yes, Dixie was supposed to be a bit 'bumpkin' in the beginning. The first Dixie was even worse as far as 'bumpkin' was concerned.
