This guy's name is Arthur, and he is from a web-comic/anime called "Axis Powers Hetalia".

In that comic, different countries are represented as anthropomorphic characters.

In this case, the guy of my video represents the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. (...but since the name is a bit too long, he is just called "England" in the comic).

So...if he is to represent ALL of the UK, why not call him "United Kingdom".

What I was was trying to get across was, I dont understand why people think "Great Britain", and imediately think everyone is English....

It causes offence to the Scottish, Irish and Welsh to call them English. They are apart of the UK... not England.

Go to Scotland and say they are being reperested by England..I dare you.

I know the government is based in London. The Priminister lives in 10 Downing street. Its a big terrist house with a black door and gold numbers.

All the countries of the british Isles were seperate until they unified, which was why the Union Jack was created.

Scotland has it's own Government as well. Which would explain why he or she, would have their own character/ or should have its own character.
