so i have a ?? do u aplly the oil on your dirty hair b4 washing with shampoo and conditioner?? i mean, doesn't that affect the hot oil treatment from working properly? shouldnt u wash the hair 1st with shampoo n conditioner, then hot oil leave it on and then rinse off with shampoo and conditioner again??
check iherb.com for natural, organic products and supplements for cheaper than whole foods, they have thousands, and use code KEB068 for 5 $ off on your first purchase.a really solid site.take a look ,personally love it
Omg, ur sooo pretty. Ty very much. This helped. I love ur hair too. I love the way it's like part of it is turned over to the other side and beauitful curls :)
@orangeluv022 You can certainly do both! I used to perm my hair all the time. When I finally decided to go natural I couldn't bring myself to do the big chop! So I didn't. It took me about one and a half years to fully transition. I just stopped perming and started taking better care of my ends to reduce hair breakage. :) Good luck!
@sweeteemarie how often are you supposed to do the treatment on your hair? and do you mix them together? and how do you heat them??? Im sorry for all the questions lol (just wanna do it the right way : ) )
@shivilrockyou Well, it may depend on what type of oil you use. Jamaican Black Castor Oil stimulates hair growth on the scalp, so there's one example that may prevent hair loss.
@TheRoyaldiamond I like to shampoo and condition afterwards to make sure I get out all the excess oil. Otherwise your hair might get really greasy, like mine often does.
@TheRoyaldiamond Yes... use a warm setting and make sure you cover your hair with some type of plastic cap to avoid having that heat directly on your hair. Give it some protection.
Does it really matlter what type of oil is used for the treatment! I tend to have a dry scalp and ichy, which is why i wash my once a week! I am trying to find oils that can help with both of these problems. Any ideas. I am currently using Tea Tree oil, but this oil only last a few days in my hair!!
@nivakk I have found a few oils that really work for my hair. I now use Olive Oil and moroccan oil. I tend to get more results from the moroccan oil. The tea tree oil no longer works on my hair. I've heard Castor oil ,coconut oil, or shea butter oil works wonders on Natural hair, So I am going to check that out. so far it has been ok not the best results, but I am going to keep trying.
@NaturalCurlyGirl OooOohhh! God. You women and all these products XD. Shampoo, Conditioner, air dye, flat iron. :( but now i've gotta use heat protection & a world of other things . . .
@NaturalCurlyGirl I dont wanna do all this stuff :( . . .The less i have to do the better while still getting the shine effect that most of you women have. I didn't know for like...psst. 4 months that we have to use heat protection :( on top i use to set the flat iron to 20 out of 25 :(
At the begainin' after you washed your hair do you apply a conditioner then(rinse out)then the oil treament or you only applied it at the end after shampooin'?

@ebonyheart90 No I do the oil treatments to help add moisture and shine to my hair. Leaving the oils in your hair will leave it TOO oily and messy
