  • Nice video brutha, good information in there. I dig the flag in the background as someone who used to live in Cali. The book idea is great, reminds me of Book of Eli at the end of the film. If I were to take one it would probably be Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, even though it's bulky because it's the only leather bound gold leaf book that I own. And for sure I would protect it like Denzel Wahington did for the King James Bible.

  • @8Urban1Survivalist6 Thanks! My best advice is to start with a good pack and a sleep system. Then decide what is a non-negotiable item and what can you live without.

  • 3 days will weigh over 7 pounds. i usually carry 10-12lbs worth of food and water. my buddy is in to the ultra light weight thing every time we go on a trip he is asking for some water and food.

  • @cbr6864 great points, food and water are absolutely the heaviest things you will have. Hopefully you can travel by car as far as possible.

  • i dont know if the ultra ubber light gear is the way to go in a bug out or SHTF situation. bugging out doesnt mean your going to be on foot. when Ike hit we had to leave i tossed a few bags i had packed and headed out. rooms were booked up so we broke out the tent at a rest stop. good to go had a good night rest. id pack gear thats made to last. when i go on extended hunting trips my pack will weigh a good 45lbs or more depending on weather. the pounds add up fast hell water alone for
