Please. Mariah got caught lip-synching because the track started to skip. The bg singer was merely trying to cover for her by increasing in volume until the snafu was cleared up. She (Mariah) had to act like it was somebody's fault to save face and deflect from what really had happened, so she threw it at the poor bg singer. Shade anyone? Heffa was mad because the backing track f'd up her game and she actually had to sing.

she's definitely not lipsynching, but the background track playing (yes, she has singers up there, but they may be the ones who aren't actually singing) has her voice in it. I think the reason she said anything was because they started playing her lead vocal track along with the background vocals and she didn't need it or want it.
