  • I'm considering purchasing a swift like this one (it's a Beka swift, right?), but I haven't been able to find the size of the swift anywhere online. Can you tell me the "diameter" of the base and of the top, and also the height of the swift (both overall height and distance between the base and the top)? Thanks!

  • Thank you for making this video. As an intermediate-level knitter, I am going to have to deal with this stuff, and your video has been very helpful.

  • Lovely. Consier slowing down, you'll have balls that are not so tightly packed. Thightly packed yarn strecthes out over time and then your gauge is off as well as your yarn having less give.

  • Awesome! This is EXACTLY what I needed to know!

  • This video is why I ordered this swift from you. I have to say, after having it a few months, I still love it and do not regret purchasing it at all. It has sped up the process so much for me. Those ball bearings really do make it spin incredibly fast. I don't think I can make the ball winder spin faster than it.

Anyway, thank you for making a video about this swift. It really does help to see it in action.

  • That was very nice to watch. Thanks!
