How is the road noise? I own the Forte Koupe SX and the road noise is horrible, you literally hear everything that is kicked up by the tires.. I'm guessing that Kia put much more sound proofing into this with it being its flagship car.

This car is giving Camry and Accord a serious run for their money with features only available on much more expensive European cars. The Optima is also much better looking than the bland styling of the Camry and Accord. Way to go Kia! Now you just need to get over driving around with a Kia badge with is a small turn off.

@squig792000 No...you're wrong. That's the EX Luxury Edition model. The SX has ground efx, paddle shifters, sport pedals, two tone leather seating, spoiler, etc.

I would suggest put it to the test and take one out for a drive! It's a totally different style of drive than your coupe. Smoother ride, much bigger vehicle and that twin scroll turbo will feel like a six! We have one available at the store in Newmarket if you would like to come in and try it out... alot of open road up here to stretch it's legs out. Let us know!

I like my tC because it is fun to drive and good on gas... is this car worth it? because it is about 10g more than my scion tC.. the one I am looking at is SX 2011 turbocharged

Correct me if I am wrong, but that is the SX model judging by the wheels.

@forexdragon no, Look at the body kit. The one in the vid doesn't have the lip at the bottom of the bumpers, fenders and side skirts. The SX has lip all around the car to give it a sportier look.

@forexdragon In Canada, things are just a little different. The EX Luxury does not include the paddle shifters. I wish the U.S. had an option like Canada because I like the Supervision Meter.

what I love about this video most is that he said "COCKPIT" as the guy in the previous video I watched =) it just sounds funny. The new KIA Optima looks beautiful with nice gadgets, 1 thing I don't like about the SX Turbo are the wheels, UGLY AS HELL, should've gave it a better looking sport wheels. Why did it take so long for KIA to release a car that actually looks good, all previous year KIAs sucks, might buy this 2011 Optima.

@cobaltss1985 well if you are leasing a 2012 sportage, then why didn't you just get the optima in the first place, it was released a year ago. This is why you must research before you buy/lease a car. And about the lease thing, I'm not sure if Kia allows what you need, but i know you can put your car on lease busters (a website where you get someone to take over your lease) but you lose your down payment, then you just lease your new car and youre ready to go!
