  • To the guy moaning about his bike rusting...garage kept doesn't mean you took care of it. I own 2 Sporties. One since 02..not a spec of rust. Not one malfunction. For the people badmouthing Harley...get a life...we don't care what you ride...just ride

  • once you ride a Harley Davidson you will not ride anything else.

  • i love this bike .its great

  • Those gaitors show the piss poor suspension travel on the front end oh and they're ugly as sin

  • what's the name of the song¿?

    anybody knows¿!

  • This is an amazing ride I just wish the back wasn't so low

  • I love the low back on the Nightser. I got the Euro version with 13.25 inch shocks and can't wait to put 11 inches on there. I love the bike, absolutely love it.

  • It's disappointing that sportsters are looked down upon for being small. So many respected bikes throughout history haven't fit the stereotypical American Fatboy. If you like to ride, well so does the guy on the sporty.

  • @jlpower i totally agree with u. ppl got dis shit mindset of underlooking sportsters which is sick

  • Fuck off you cocksucker. If you don't like Harley then why watch the fucking vid? Oh so you can post shit that you're too much of a pussy to say in public! Oh yeah Peace out....

  • Love it.. the vid doesn't do it justice. Seen it at the dealer, awesome bike for my wife..

  • Thanks for ruining a perfectly lovely classic motorcycle. Looks like something the Russians might try to pull-off.

  • i would still want a bigger bike if i were to buy a harley.

  • you must be kiding .you want us to give you money ?

  • get a job....or buy a scooter

  • LOL yea dude get a f***ing scooter. Are you a Nigerian prince or something? :P

  • Nice bike.

JoeBird- good going on working hard for your bike, but you're too young to be this biased against other brands...You don't really love bikes if you think HD is the only thing out there. Appreciate motorcycle history a little more and you will learn to love Moto Guzzi, BMW, Triumph, and yes...even the rice rockets. Ride safe.

  • very well said!

  • Im blessed to be 18 and work my ass off to pay for my nightster. All my friends drive EVOs and STIs and they drool on my bike. So what you bought a fast car from the factory. Shows me nothing. I have the shortshots, se air cleaner, brawler seat smoked lenses and the stage 1 download. THere is really no way of explaining it unless you have a harley. Harleys are the ONLY real motorcycles. No respect for crotch rockets or anyting really for that matter. And no mommy and daddy dont pay for my beast

  • you said it perfectly to the T...

granted im far from affording one but I know how it is to earn a wicked ride... I went the subaru route myself but hope to get a harley to keep her company in the garage.

  • Well done Joebird629 , i dont agree fully what you said about the other bikes, each to there own, but i respect you worked for somthing you wanted and got , well done :)

  • Haha...I would really piss your friends off. I have an 07 Nightster and an 03 WRX. I love them both!

  • Dude thats cool and all and im considering buying 1 of these bikes but why say a harley is the only real bike? I ride at the moment a crotch rocket/a 2005 yamaha r1 and it is a fucking mad bike to ride fast. Im considering a nightster becouse firstly they look good but secondly to slow me down and just cruise. i think all bikes are good and people should get over themselves and learn to enjoy all bikes and have a fuckin fun time.

  • Why all the hate from the squids,if your ride you ride, simple as that. Now go pretend your a motorcycle riding bad ass and wreck that crotch rocket your mom bought for when you turned 18 somewhere else!

  • The Nightster is a neat-looking bike, but it's too small if you're around 6 feet tall. The regular 1200R/C are much better size-wise.

  • What you say is true, but have you ever seen someone who is too short for their motorbike stopping and starting? It's bloomin' dangerous at least Harley are catering for riders of heights!

  • I am 6'1" tall. I added forward controls and love riding my Nightster. However before putting the forward controls on I would get cramps in my hips.

  • I'm about 6'3" and was on my way to getting a Nightster. Saw a picture of a 14 year old sitting on one who was probably around taller inches of 5 feet and figured I wouldn't fit.

  • be careful out there my fellow riders...a lot of bonehead drivers out there that purposely try to make you crash or piss you off....so ride safe!

  • YEH,

  • awesome bike, simple yet stlyish complete with the vallejo fast track system at no charge

  • Soooo cool. Exactally what you feel when biking. Amen ! For all Harley's lovers and espacially Sportster's ones, let's meet here : sportsters-hd•blogspot•com

See you soon brothers and sisters !

  • This year would be the year to get one too. It's the 50th anniversary of the Sporty, so it would make for a nice collector's edition.

  • im in doubt between nightster or night rod special anyone of them is a good choice

  • This bike is SO cool!!

  • yes sir this is motorcycle

  • the bike is really nice, but sucks how quiet it is... they should have put proper screaming eagle II pipes...

  • All you have to do is pull the baffles out of the mufflers, and it would be as loud as you would ever want it to be.

  • Yeah, but will the computer module have range enough to change its injection fuel/air mixture for the resulting change in exhaust parameters?

  • I would think so, as my pal just bought a 2007 Dyna street bob, and he changed the pipes as soon as he got it. He put on a pair of Wicked pipes with no baffles, and he said it ran fine. I don't think he changed any settings on the FI. I'll find out though.

  • Thanks....I would really like to know how HD set up the FI on the 1200 Evo and how much room there is to make mods that affect the fuel/air setting.

  • Hey, I talked to my bud who just bought the 2007 Dyna Street Bob, and he said the dealership had to make changes to the FI via computer when he changed his pipes.

  • Damn...hate being tied to a 'dealer' for anything. Thanx for getting back to me though. I have a big HD bud in Denver and he has a sexed out Soft Tail-said that the Nightster doesn't have the best 'fit & finish'. I would guess at this point it best to see one in the flesh.

  • WTF is a sexed out softail and fit and finish?

  • Wow.....OK, "sexed out" means all the extra doodads (factory and other) that make the bike ride and look special. "Fit & finish" is the way the bike is put together and how all the pieces fit (like a puzzle), i.e., rough , sloppy & ill fitting, or smooth and detailed. Most riders like to see shiny parts made out of billet stock (where practical), rather than cheap cast or 'chromed' plastic.

  • yeah, anytime you change something like that they have to reprogram the ecu so it doesn't run lean.

  • Yeah, it sucks. I would much rather downsize the jets on an S&S E than have to take my ride to the Hundred Dollar, ooops I mean Harley Davidson labor shop. You can see the mechanics salivating at the mouth whenever you take a bike there to get it worked on.
