  • How i wish they're come to brazil

  • good sound? in your dreams ...

  • "Good sound quality" Are you slow or something..? That pretty poor quality...

  • Lars in his day..Danny now...??

    Bad day to try drums

  • Seeing them in about an hour <333333

  • Why they never come to my country!!!

  • looked like an awesome show, thanks for sharing

  • Tool in BOSTON!!

    Dom

  • tool in march, last show, lets go

  • Seeing TOOL in February!!!

  • @300daysandnights february 4th in charlotte!!

  • way too staged fuck this shit

  • @IsDucasse Whats wrong with putting on a very good show?

  • @IsDucasse you must have issues you need to work out to think this is "way too staged."

  • I love this song. It sounds like satan's theme song

  • @llamasarus1 no, morbid angel's "god of emptiness" is satans theme song.

  • @llamasarus1 Obviously not, if you actually listen to the lyrics.

  • this is probably the coolest thing online having to do with fresno

  • I love that bass line XD DAMMIT WHY DID I PICK GUITAR

  • @GuitarPlayer96100 You could always play both. That's what I did; started playing guitar, then added bass in after about 1 1/2 years.

  • So have these guys announced anything coming up? Like a new record or tour or anything? I feel cheated I just start to get into Tool and it seems like they're not even a band any more :(

  • @Floorberry Don't worry dude, they usually release a record every six years. We should get one next year, if they are nice. I'm just as anxious as anyone to get some more TOOL.

  • @FortuitousTruths we could either get a good record or if not some good wine

  • God I LOVE the little solo Danny plays in this... DAMN IT START TOURING AGAIN!

  • @DahPurpleHippo they're touring right now and i got tickets!

  • omg theses guys kick ass

  • the break down@ 3:50 or so is monumental.......almost tragic.

  • Listen to the crowd and the person who films.

    You can't hear them?

Because they don't scream and bang their heads menacingly.

They enjoy the music, like they should.

As Adam Jones the guitarist of TOOL said:

"We'd rather have that the people listen and enjoy our music while looking at a cool visual than being their just for seeing us".

  • @MrMasterHat u are exactly right sir. and the crowd usually stands in awe as well rather than moshing and acting fools. Best to let it wash over you

  • I don't think Tool should be called a metal band... they deserve their own genre

  • @paulv1973 So, not Psychedelic Metal or anything in that area?

What would the genre be called?

  • @MrMasterHat progressive metal...avant-garde metal, etc

  • @paulv1973

    Musical Genius Rock

  • maynard is the best!!

  • Tool is just incredible...

  • Adam has the best job in the world.

  • That drum solo in the middle. Yes please.

  • i really dont know much about percussion and the equipment drummers use, but is that a gong behind the drumset?

  • @LeftAstray Si.

  • @LeftAstray yes, it is :)

  • @LeftAstray Why yes it is, only time I know he hits it is at the end of the song Lateralus. Not sure if he using it anywhere else.

  • tool is fucking good. i love what they did starting round at 4:00 fucking brilliant

  • Its nice to be able to see a modern metal band that doesn't growl and actually sings with clean vocals.

  • @52ndWarhawkGerbil cus there not modern they been around for a while and alot of metal bands dont growl thats just called scremo

  • @clockwork624 screamo is a subgenre of metal that is very active at the present moment, and when i think of modern i think of anything after the 80s.

  • just fuckin beautiful

  • Tool is at the present moment gracing our planet. The music is full of great transitions and tempo switches, and no one preaches the word like Rev. Maynard!

  • Amazing show, hope to see them in Belgium soon.

  • There is NOTHING like seeing them live Honestly!

  • such a beautiful voice. fuck.

  • celebrate it as it goes....

  • simply amazing

  • Complete arts...

  • 22 people are losing their comunication

  • Tool takes the pain away.

  • @sgockley don't bring your emo shit in here.

  • @strongsock Who gave you permission to speak?

  • I KNOW THE PIECE OF SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!......LOL, so powerful ending!

  • @loidrock01 I hope that isn't what you think he says.

  • somebody else said this on a different video but im gonna say it again.

this band is the best thing since the invention of the orgasm

  • @msvanwyk I hope you've been by now, I think you would be surprised by the croud... it's not a typical metal croud... last show I went to there were whole families in line together (parents wearing tool shirts along with their 8 yos) Great atmosphere... just expect to smell somthing funky/skunky from time to time ;)

  • i love how the audience stays quiet for the band as opposed to some bands i listen to . T~T

  • sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssswwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

  • i'm not the only one who like to speed up at 4:00

  • @KiodFox This song live is better than the original IMO. They juiced it up for the live crowd which is awesome. :)

  • @killzy I've never seen them live. What do you mean juiced it up? Thanks

  • Sorry, just realized what you mean.

  • @killzy I totally agree.. they do something special for their live audiences

  • @KiodFox you're not a realy tool fan if you just speed up in the song, you listen to the song and like it no matter how sof or heavy it is, and in just about EVERY tool song they give you a good mixture of both

  • @anthonyring123 so i'm not a tool fan for something that the band itself does with one of it's songs? i'm not a too fan for knowing how to play a few of their songs? shit son.

  • @KiodFox that was just for a little live drum solo, they go back to playing the original speed afterwards...it was pretty awesome i must admit

  • @KiodFox i know it doesn't totally fit with the, for saying it in a way, feel of the song but it's such a pleasure to see Danny play the drums that i can't help but to watch the whole solo

  • MKJ by far best rock singer ever

  • Great vid. Danny your a crazy bastard

  • Tool is amazing, and if your one of those 22 haters then you can go fuck yourself.

  • the intro reminds me of Cliff Burton

  • AN osmose with this band can be pretty harsh on the spirit mouahahahah

  • Adding the music video to the background was a great touch. I think all bands should do it. It's a magnificent idea.

  • @Ehud2221 Yea but most music videos are rubbish and just show the band in some remote location all plugged in and playing their shit in the middle of a desert or on the edge of a cliff or some dumb thing.

  • when i listen to tool , all my problem seem to have a conclusion

  • ^^^ 22 people don't know that the pieces fit. Lolz

  • does maynard have pre-programmed harmonies or something?

  • God-like artists. Each of them is BOSS.

  • may 15 2012 new tool album !!

  • Great to hear a good quality live performance from Tool. The whole band are sick. The bass is just sublime. I will carry on listening to these for another 10 years at least even with no new album.

  • Dana Carry best drummer in the world

  • im on drugs but only because listening to tool messes up my mind yo.

  • when the fuck are these guys gonna be on tour?!?!

  • I hate that they have no stage presence. I do enjoy their music though.

  • @wmoyer2006 The music is the stage presence.

  • @wmoyer2006

The big TV/projectors and the lights are pretty unique. When I saw Slayer, all they really did was headbang and walk around a bit. It would have been a lot less exciting if they didnt have the best light show I've ever seen!

  • First time I heard them, my musical standards went way up. Just amazing! Clara's Silence is a band that loves Tool!

  • How can you dislike a Tool video ?!?!

  • GOD I missed this show last year because of bitches! FUCK! completely forgot :(

  • @lukemfingwilloughby I would have to agree totally.. I guess I should have been a little more clear in what my thoughts were. Musicly they aren't very similar, I was looking more at the affect the music has on people. Very artistic and really makes you step back and think (about the world, and yourself)... I feel that each Tool album just as Floyd's is a journey... and I think that in the future Tool could put on a show to Rival the Wall... or at least that's the climax I am hoping for.

  • @FedorfaN79 I have the same taste my friend... my favorite band is Pink Floyd and then Tool.. by the way I´m only 15 years old.. so I guess I would have some more opportunities to discover new music.. like The Mars Volta

  • @memoom0528 that is awesome to hear, someone your age, listening outside of what's "popular". its people like you that will keep great music alive. And there is so much great music that you've yet to discover. I would recommend The Doors or Clutch they may be right up your alley

  • and lost keys was insane

  • holy shit I was at that show... on shrooms... Peaked at the Fire backround part

  • I didn't say they were like Pink Floyd... I was merely pointing out that Tool is to our Generation what Floyd was to there's. 2 of the most "Original" bands ever... and I have to mention Led Zeppelin as well... imo top 3 bands of all time

  • @FedorfaN79

    Check out UFOMAMMUT... You're welcome

  • @synesthesia00 DUDE... thank you.. my mind has been proper f@#ked

  • maynards dance starting at 7:32 kicks ass

  • great camera work killzy! usually live recordings of concerts are crap but your stands out!

  • i would fucking hate to be one of danny carey's cymbals

  • @alancritic Are you kidding!? I would let him beat me even if I weren't a cymbal.

  • @alancritic I'd love to be a piece of his drumkit.... fuckin best drummer there is.

  • una obra maestra

  • This is our generation's Pink Floyd... wouldn't you agree?

  • @FedorfaN79 amen

  • @FedorfaN79 And also this generation's Led Zeppelin

  • @MuscleMemory462 for sure... I think Danny is easily as good as Bonzo... maybe better

  • @FedorfaN79 NO

  • @FedorfaN79 I actually consider Tool the current generation's YES. Very complex and artful in your face rock. I can see why you would think that though. I am in that Pink Floyd generation by the way. PF is my favorite but Tool has proven that artistic rock will never die.

  • @FedorfaN79 this and opeth

  • @Cpbarbro I'm also a fan of opeth

  • @FedorfaN79 except better.

  • @FedorfaN79 I totally agree, just as pink floyd does, they make me high with music...unique!!

  • @FedorfaN79 this is our generation's TOOL...which is better than pink floyd, n my opinion

  • @seanbob24 I love Tool and have every album, but I also have every Pink Floyd album. The two are a tough choice, but I give the edge to Pink Floyd. And I mean an extremely slight one. Pink Floyd is just a little bit more refined with the way they put songs together, though Tool is the king of tempo changes. Now I might change my mind, no, fuck it. They're both way better than 99% of what has been thrown out their in recorded music history. So hard to choose on that one.

  • @FedorfaN79 certainly one of the most important bands of our time. They will be remembered the way floyd and zeppelin are in the future. Opeth & Radiohead too

  • @FedorfaN79 no, pink floyd was a past generation of tool, cause tool are unique :)

  • @beyoNdHQq well said my friend

  • @FedorfaN79 pro reallity :D

  • I KNOW THE PIECES FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

  • @FedorfaN79 more like our generations Rush, with a little Floyd in there.

  • @passvagg hmmm.. I would love to Neil and Dan have a battle during Lateralus... then again i dunno. that may cause a worm hole to open and we'd all get sucked into the net of being

  • @FedorfaN79 no i wouldnt agree at all. tool would be insulted by that. pink floyd would be too. so shut up and go make your own fuckin music and compare it to something you tool

  • @stephenleighum well, that's your opinion, and you're entitled to it.

  • @FedorfaN79 Hell yes!

  • @FedorfaN79 probably wont get another one of these bands in another 10 years or so.

  • @ireternalexistence truth be known... it will probably take another generation or two.... just look at the gap between when Floyd started and when Tool came on the scene. I'm sure there will be other great bands (Godsmack for instance) ... but Bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Tool are on a completely different level.

  • @FedorfaN79 Godsmack is not great....Alice in Chains was great...Godsmack ripped them off and added a middle aged front man whining as if he has teenage angst and urging everyone to "get away" or "keep away" from him. Not even worth mentioning that awful group in the same paragraph as Floyd, Zeppelin or TOOL

  • @CRRankinstein yes the old A.I.C. was great... it's all about opinions... and mine is that Godsmack is great... you have different taste and that's ok

  • @CRRankinstein why do douchebags like you talk shit about other metal bands? bash justin bieber or miley cyrus instead of wasting ur breath on good bands

  • @CRRankinstein godmack is a very good band they're just a complete opposite style of tool and personally i think you're a douche bag for saying that, of course they can't be in the same conversation as tool but no one can

  • @barberskippy i agree with crrankinstein..godsmacks not very good. i put them in the same category of 3doors down ha generic sound

  • @CRRankinstein Godsmack doesn't suck. it could be worse. they could be singing bullshit like "The bitch came back". by far the worst rock song I've ever heard.

  • @CRRankinstein It's called entertainment. Fuckin deal with it. Sully Erna of Godsmack is extremely talented.

  • 3:55 As if you need any more evidence that Danny Carey is to drumming what Leonardo was to painting

  • @djp4516 I don't think it could be said better bro.. man these guys are awseome live

  • how can u just start liking them you loser

  • my buddy saw tool once. he told me they were on acid during the show. he said they played the whole show with their backs to the crowd. anyone ever heard of anything like that from them?

  • @legatzzz he did that in san antonio once he said NO PICTURES and sang the whole concert with his back towards the crowd

  • @legatzzz I never heard that particular one, but someone told me, before I saw them for the first time, that they dressed all in white, and all of the instruments and equipment were white, while a crazy light show was tripping everyone's balls. Sounded awesome, but nonetheless, that was not the case when I did see them on the 10,000 Days tour, but still fucking amazing. I saw them in Vancouver last year, and they played mostly their older stuff. Their setlist always seems to be well constructed

  • kilzy..... i wish i was with you

  • It's a shame that one of the greatest bands of all time never has any professionally filmed live performance (with the exception of a live performance of Sober in 93 I think) but oh well, I'll work with what I have until they do film such a performance in that way.

  • @snoookmz i like your intent.

  • Come back plz!

  • FLAG AS AWSOME!!!

  • Anyone know why Maynard doesn't sing at the front of the stage anymore?

  • @MetallicaFan349

From what I've heard he feels each song is a display of an array of different emotions and he can convey them better when hes at the back, think its also why he doesnt use a spotlight anymore or face the audience sometimes.

I personally love the set up they have just something different from all the other bands in the world today and reckon he looks cooler as a silhoutte

  • -][-{[]}{[}}]]_!!!!!!!!

  • Wish i was there

  • Tool please come back to fucking Fresno!

  • wow

  • holy fucking shit!!! best schism ever!! I love it when they add shit once in a while, just to have fun and fuck with our heads!! Bad ass

  • Why do I have to find a band I like when they are on a hiatus?

  • @akhbball They'll be back with another awesome album. They seem to go away for years when they make music.

  • @killzy APC is Performing this summer, see them if you can, fantastic!

  • @killzy it's because they don't just make music, they make auditory orgasms, which are beyond the comprehension of us mere mortals. when on hiatus, they go to another plane of existence, to dance with devils and dine with Gods. maybe.

  • @killzy oh and cheers for the upload buddy!

  • @killzy any other band, that would be kind of annoying. but every Tool album is so good that it doesnt really matter. with Tool you dont need a new album every year cause you can listen to any album over and over and still disover new nuances.

  • @killzy well daney creates his Times signatures out of geometrical objects .......Lateralus album is based on the fibonacci sequence ..... if they are about to create so EPIC stuff then what do you expect ??? :)

  • @killzy I just realized the other day that almost ALL the good bands take forever to write another album. It's upsetting, but at least we're garunteed a masterpiece everytime!

  • @killzy be expecting one later this year.. cant fuking wait. TOOL!!!!

  • @killzy Given how complex some of their music is.. i'll let the delay slide with Tool...

  • @akhbball According to a post on their site, they're working on a new album now. I expect it to be out sometime between the end of this year and 2014.

  • @akhbball Dude, they aren't on a hiatus! They had a tour last year and are working on a new album.

  • @akhbball They are not on hiatus really, they tour during records. Since 96' they have a tren
