Pete does sound great jumping in on vocals...Roger should have stayed out until the tune was finished...kinda funny. Pino is a complete joke on bass...a good player but how can you not play John's lines? For those like me that miss the Ox check out the videos posted by KeenanX1. A Quadrophenia medley and live Dreaming From The Waist. If this guy was in The Who all eyes would have been on the bass, the way it should be...check him out!
Thanks for posting, but by the time it's turned into Townshend, Bundrick, Palladino, and Starkey, it's a bit of a stretch to continue calling it The Who.
i agree, but they really had no choice. the promoters don't feel they could sell a show calling it anything else. I'm sure Pete and Roger don't want to call it the Who anymore, but they're trapped into it. There are all these great young tribute bands out there for all the legendary rock groups that are better at it than the actual groups (what's left of them). All the old rock gods should just send them out on tour and take a commission. I don't want to see my idols geting older.
@ZeropointZero70 Seeing our Rock Gods get older can be really cool as long as the music is respected because that is what lives on. Those original recordings deserve respect from a fans perspective. If The Who had a bass player that could play at least some of the lines the overall experiance of the concert would be so much better. Not a Ox clone just someone with respect and mad chops!

@gotham61 Fuck that. If Keith and John Truly gave a shite about The Who they might have taken better car of themselves. IMO I would try out for Pino's spot if there was an opening Kieth and John would totally understand.
