Bozis group had one smart chant man unparalleled to date who gave the band unique climax presence especially towards the end. For those who saw any live performance by this group one wouldn't fail to notice the maboko lokolo aspect and lovely dance style and maturity. however, Bozis failure to adopt soukous style may have contributed to his decline besides the death of some great members. Ngouma's Bass Guitar worth close to million does the trick. i understand he has several of these.

hi aaaku, i think the lead guitar was played by the late Dodoly, rhythm guitar by Aimedo Aziza and the drums by Vedo. rumba was guitar driven as opposed to keyboard as witnessed today.

@rumbaontheriver1 Indeed the lead was played by Dodoly "Mon Cher" but since he became late I'm just hearing about, Rhythm guitar was by Lidjona, Bass is the creative Ngouma Lokito "Proffesor", Drums could be Koumba Bellow he did play with the group for a while.

Wow! i am re-reading my journal written during my 1988 trip through africa. this song was played nearly continuously on the zaire river steamer from kisangani to kinshasa--hundreds of times.
