@Zerosk8er32 what you do is turn up your editor and player health and shields to max so you can take 2 hits then make a teleporter reciever push it as far away as you can and set it to an unused channel i used 0, then fly towards the skull, you die it falls and you make a sender node for that channel then make a new reciever with a different channel fly through your teleporter and do the same thing, 3 times should be right on the skull then walk through your last teleporter and grab the skull.

the sand box skull is easyer to get instructions: put 4 trip mines down and set them to instant respawn.

supper throw by tappin X,X,Y rapeatedly until the screnn moves a little like lags.

then run out there and the guardians wont get you because you overloaded the map and the skull is still there

@Airsoftdude24 i found out where the skull was and i tried it and it works this trick works for all guardians aswell like on sandtrap and on snowbound BUT! you have to be throwing the mines out of bounds for it to work

stand on the edge of the game play area so just inside the safe zone and throw the mines as far as you can because the guardians only shoot at a certain weight i think so thropwing them outside the map makes the guardians think someone is there but there isnt like movment so they wont shoot you because you have set the weight limit higher than you weigh. look over the mine and tap X(blue) 2 times and select the minimum on map and put it as high as it can go and they will spawn instantly

then throw them away from you untill they blow up, do not save and exit it will not work now the gardians turrets are off

i just spent about. 45 mins (ish) makeing a Tunnel, It was a hassel but made it easyer, for me atleast and it was fun :D just use the Warp item and tunnels to be on the "safe side" Ive read usein the Trip mine can mess up your 360 & game, IDK if it's True, but i dont' wana risk it

you have to over load the defenders by making an over sized pile of activated trip mines in tell they explode by them selves, then the defenders won't attack you. this works on snowbound, too.

i summoned two portals, put them on the same channel, put one on the floor with a bubble shield beside it and took the second portal to the direction of the skull (a crater thingy right to the sun).

then, using the oracle, i flew in zigzags all over the place to the skulls direction and dropt the second portal right beside it. i died, obviously, then went to my first portal and took the over shield. i went through the portal, dropped the bubble shield automatically after i passed the portal and there you have it! you can reach the skull easily under the bubble shield.

you can download some special variants of the map where there is simply a container around the skull with a teleport receiver inside so that you can enjoy your precious skull by teleporting there and holding on.

the best way to get the sandbox skull is to go as high as you can with a reciever node and "throw" it toward the general direction of the skull then make a sender node, spawn a bubble shield and as soon as you go the teleporter use the bubble shield. Make more bubble shields if nesessary. remember the higher and closer you get to the skull the better.

So I bought the Mythic Map pack on the Xbox live marketplace for Halo 3 (Came with Assembly, Orbital and Sandbox). Yet when I try to play the Mythic Maps option under social slayer it says I don't have the necessary maps, what gives? I have the Heroic and Legendary Map packs as well so that shouldn't be an issue. Do you have to have the three from ODST as well in order to play the mythic maps on Halo 3?

If you go into edit mode and create a corner tube, with one of the open ends facing where the skull is, you can go inside of it in edit mode, grab it, and then float it over to the skull. While you are inside you are fairly well protected. Drop the corner tube when the edge is right near the skull, and then switch to normal mode and quickly jump out and grab the skull. It is way easier than making a tunnel of tubes, or doing whatever is suggested to disable the guardians.
