Hi. I live in Brisbane. I was wondering how you become a wildlife carer? I found two little Ring tailed Possums and when the carer took them away I was so sad, and I really want to be able to care for them and release them to the wild etc as I love wildlife and I think it would be a great job!
There are several products - they are special wildlife products but they are EXTREMELY FRAGILE and you will need to get it to a vet or a wildlife carer asap or it will die. If you have a vet nearby take it in or look in the phone book for your local wildlife rescue group. There is ONARR in Brisbane Australia or WIRES in other parts of Australia but I don't know where you are from but please get it to a vet. They often die of shock if not cared for properly.
ok thanks a LOT that really helped me im in sydney and today about 20 minutes my dad n i took it to the vet and they said that it will be just fine but when i bout it in they said that it was dehydrated and exushed from calling for its mum all day and all night. thank you sosososo much thanks to you that ringtail possum lived
That is great that you took it to the vet. I had a look at your video and it did not look well at all. They can also just drink water to help them get rehydrated (should you find one in future) but always need to go into proper care as soon as possible. Fingers Crossed for it.

sorry, I have only just looked at comments - not at this time, they need to have their bottoms wiped gently with a tissue, like their mother would lick them. They do become self weeing and pooing very soon after this was filmed
WOW... i wish my western ringtail would feed so peacefully. My baby is so stubborn :D

what do u feed it with?? is that just normal full cream milk???
cuz i just rescued 1 from my cat and im tring to fed it with apple but it wont eat it!! PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP:(:(:(:(

sorry, I have only just looked at comments - not at this time, they need to have their bottoms wiped gently with a tissue, like their mother would lick them. They do become self weeing and pooing very soon after this was filmed
