The leg hold trap probably has offset jaws which doesn't break any bones. It just gripps the foot. Snares are used to "snare"them around the neck. It doesn't harm them at all. Just saying..

trappins doesnt hur the animal AT ALL! they can easily be released with NO HARM DONE! ive done it many times. they do not suffer at all. and cage traps do not hardly work to catch a coyote. coyotes r EXTREMELY SMART. the only way to catch 1 in a live trap is is u get a couple thousand dollar set up and to only catch a few yotes a year? not worth it. @1butta21 well some traps are designed to just hold them, which this one is and it doesnt hurt him, but there are also ones that are made to squeeze and suffocate it quickly. very rarely does a trap make an animal suffer, unless its like a bear trap which i dont see many folks using those..
