I got some armor ready not for the left and a nice ligthweight size 34 shinai for my unarmored right, so you'll see some really different movements coming out of me, hopefully. That, AND we're just ONE STEP from completing the kusarigama, which, in a way, are all about grappling, just using a chain rather than limbs. =P
That position is eternally repeated between us; I crouch and slide in striking his lover body, he stands his ground and strikes my back. You can see it two or three times again in "Trading Blows". We always oddly even out. After a day of sparring, I would have landed more blows, but they are mostly to his arms and hands. He lands less, but they're more significant, to my left breast (heart!) and back (which is a swordsman's shame). I miss him and his oddly wiggly, thrusty moves, stupid school.

you should try and add in some grappling and sword binding. its so much fun.
