I got my XPT700XH-GSF this past Friday ... but having problems keeping her in tune. Could be the newness and also the temperature changes/humidity all thrown together. My apartment and the season has just changed ... so praying it isn't the guitar and/or need an expensive luthier (re)set-up.

@1562496 Thanks, I usually do a mix of both. I use tabs as a guideline. They help getting to speed when learning a song. But about 90% of all tabs are incorrect in certain sections, so usually you need to pay attention where the tab is right and where not.

@nonpoint666rocks No, I've used the Xiphos for 1,5 years so far and it still holds the tuning perfect. I know some people brag about it, but maybe they didn't set it up properly.

Thanks, actually I am not too familiar with the Eclipse - but as it is similar to a Les Paul Shape my concern would be the weight. I don't really like heavy guitars handlingwise although they obviously have a very full sound. But that's much personal taste. Maybe check out some reviews on harmony central or so to get a better idea. I usually read a lot of reviews before deciding which guitar might be interesting for me.
