  • Don't you think its a bit too soon to say he will have the biggest forehand? I haven't even heard of this kid on the atp or itf tour.

  • i find ambidextrous players intreseting but ull hav 2 keep switching hands

  • my father played with no backhand two forehands and he became a good veteran

he began playing tennis at age 29 and now he is 44 and he's winning nearly everyone tennis tournament for veterans in bulgaria :)

if you can play with two forehands it is really big advantage i'm telling you

  • @mechkapechka Thanks for the information about your dad. With two dependable forehands it is a huge advantage especially in amateur play. I would enjoy seeing a video of your dad;s tennis playing._Hammer

  • @wholebrainplanet Ok :) i'll try to make 1 video :)

  • wow you are really awful.

  • @patrickkawka Thanks.

  • wow, no backhand, thats nuts!

  • he looks like a retard

  • @ZawShin LOL

  • @funguysmith LOL.

  • nutzz..hez got 2 forehandz..amazinggg

  • @treacherous007 Hey thanks for the comment. Check out my book. Two forehand tennis can be learned. Hammer

  • is that the serve of pete sampras...???

  • @23remoh He tries to imitate Sampras but to get more spring and lift to hit down into the server's box. Thanks for your interest. Hammer

  • wow he has a very good forehand it is very extraordinary that some hits a forehand with both arms

  • @TheSami357 Hey thanks for your comment. If you want to learn how to achieve this style of play check out my book Whole Brain Power. Hammer

  • @OrangeSlice100 you gotta try the Head YouTek speed pro racquet , the one that djokovic uses, I use it and it has a beautiful combination of power and feel .

btw the guy in that video is awesome .

  • the kids forehand is alright. you want to add more speed to it? tell chris to straighten his arm out more when coming into contact with the ball. when chris hits his forehand his elbow and pretty much at a 90 degree angle

  • @DarseMan Thanks for your input. Hammer

  • Look foreward to that in the pro tour, the only one that came close to getting into the top 100 pro tour with ambidextrous tennis style was a girl =P lets see what this man can do ^-^

  • So if i learn to handle a heavier racket will my shots become faster? can someone reccomend some heaviever rackets?

  • I just ordered your book. Hopefully it will work because my right forearm is twice as big as my left. I want to make it even by hitting on both sides. If this book does help me with my ambidexterity, I'll post a video proving it.

By the way, Chris's forehand is no where near 100mph. The balls fly too high. They need topspin if they are going in. Only flat shots are fast.

  • @balabitu Sorry to have missed your comment. I hope the book is working out for you. Hammer

  • Nice video guys :)

  • Thanks for your comment. Hammer

  • That is pretty awesome !! Is he a natural lefty ?? I ask bec it looks like his left is the strong side when he swings

  • Thanks for your comment. Chris is better at certain things as a righty. His right handed backhand is better than his left handed one. His left handed forehand is better than his right handed one. The more he trains at ambidexterity the better his overall athleticism gets. Hammer

  • I Have to say I think he can hit the Fastest Forehand but i need see it for really maybe you can use a speed gun on it.

  • Thanks for your interest. This year I am going to get a gun and show the numbers. Until then, he is working out really hard. Subscribe to my channel. There are lots of new posts coming. Hammer

  • His forehand is not fast...

He can't hit the world's fastest forehand if he hit with so much spin and so high...

If he wants to hit a world's fastest forehand, hit flatter, like Fernando Gonzalez (although most of his shots are top spin)

  • You are entitled to your opinion. Hammer

  • plus his footwork isnt all 2 good... and hes not efficient... it looks like hes wasting a helluva lot of energy

  • Show us what you got. Lots of people post comments with nothing to show on their account. Your channel is empty. Put some energy into showing us the way instead of only being a critic. Hammer

  • I'm tired of your insistent, cocky attitude. I'm talking about him, not me. Whether or not I can get beat by him, I DON"T CARE! The lots of people you refer to can post things they want and not have to put vids in their channel. What is true is that he's not too efficient... I can probably wear him down and tire him out...

  • Really? Who has a cocky attitude?

This is your quote, "im not saying he sucks but dont b cocky "

Excuse me for being a bit defensive. Oh, he doesn't suck, but in your opinion he's not even OK. How do you know how fast his forehands are going? You haven't been on the court with him. I doubt seriously that you would wear him out with your style of play. We can't even see your style of play. You have not shown us anything. Hammer

  • @wholebrainplanet Hammer has ample room to be cocky if he wants. He delivers and so does his son. I hadn't realized there were such things as "tennis trolls". Challenge the boy, put down your cash and show your stuff.

  • Alright, I feel like I need to interject here and give so more advice to wholebrainproject. Yes, the kid is talented for being able to use both hands. No, he is not a great player. 50% of the balls he was hitting were going out. It doesn't matter how hard you hit them, if it's out it's out. We'd both beat him by playing at a consistent level. I feel confident that if I put more than 4 balls back my chances of winning would increase to 90%. And he definitely does need to work on his footwork

  • I agree that his footwork need inprovement. I shot the footage and his success rate of getting the ball in was way higer than 50%. I do not know what you are looking at. Hammer

  • the form and everything makes it seem like he cant hit a 110 mph forehand... >.> im not saying he sucks but dont b cocky

  • He can crush the ball. Let's see your post of your game and then we can see if you could get it back. Hammer

  • 10 years ago I told an ex-Satellite Circuit friend of mine that we'd soon see players without a backhand.

Why hit a backhand when you can hit 2 forehands and have the reach?

I came back after a 25 year layoff, and am again beating college and ranking Juniors. Got tennis elbow, and had to re-learn a two handed backhand.

One of the things that 'trained' it - and I still continue, is hitting with my left (weak) hand, to the point I want to hit 'forehand' winners with it.

    Good stuff. Thanks.

  • Thanks for your input. Chris is really starting to make people believe that you can train to play with two single handed forehands. He also hits the two handed backhand when he needs to.

I look forward to seeing a video post of your ambidextrous tennis strokes. Hammer

  • Over 110 mph??? Umm....No, not even close. 115 mph is the world record for professional tennis.

If this is true, then i'll be sure to look out for this guy taking U.S. open junior championship.

  • How are you so sure that it's not even close? We will have a radar gun on him this spring to prove that he is hitting it 110 mph plus.

  • Please do, I've seen tennis at the highest level.

80 mph is a solid, professional winner forehand average speed (examples includong Gonzalez, Verdasco, or Del Portro).

If he's average is above 70 mph (let alone above 110) with ease, then he should be playing junior or futures circuits. If this isn't the case, maybe you should check your radar gun.

  • Chris is entering his senior year in tennis at Laguna Beach high school. We will get the radar readings of his serve and his forehands when the season starts. We will put the camera on the forehand and then the camera. If he does 110 mph plus you might be interested in hitting against it.

    Hammer

  • slow motion grunt oaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh or somthing but it was kinda a cool sound

  • Check out other videos of Chris.

  • What does Chris think about those two-handed racquets? Seems to be perfect for ambidextrous players.

  • We have tried them out and they have some merit. However, Chris can hit backhand from both sides as well and he is really comfortable with the conventional racquet. Thanks for your interest.

  • Thats really cool, two forehands. Major advantage if you have enough time to prepare and switch hands. Is this guy playing for a college or futures or something? I imagine not too far in the future more players will be ambidextrous.

  • Thanks for your comment. Two powerful forehands accompanied with the two handed backhand when necessary has huge advantages in Chris' game.

It will take lots of training for people that start late to be able to play this way. Check out my book Whole Brain Power. It is an interesting read about the potential future of sports training. Hammer.

  • I wonder which is more unique and better, this video's 1RFH 1LFH or "1H Switch Hitter" no video on volleys no FH/BH slicing and not against 90-100mph flat balls(less reaction time) Vs. My 1FH 2BH (Semi-Western for FH,BH, Serve,Volley) or "Mono-Grip" p.s. I'm only a 4.5. I can do the "2H Switch Hitting" instead. I will post a video of this. This would be one weird match. Can Chris hit BH on both sides like I can? Does wholebrainplt teach this style(Mono-grip and 2H FH/BH)?
  • Thanks for your interest in Chris' game. He experiments with all combinations of groundstrokes. I am curious to see how you play. Maybe you can post your skills. Good luck.

  • he hits with both hands like me

  • sry but i'm positive my forhand is at least double that speed

  • Don't be sorry. Just post what you can do and we can see what kind a player you are and what velocity your forehands can reach.

  • k i should have it by next week

  • I am looking forward to seeing what you can do.

  • Oh, I forgot to ask. Has Chris been to a tennis academy? Because if he hasn't, it'd make his game seem that bit more remarkable.

  • To date Chris has been taught to play on the public courts. He is seeking sponsorship for his game to take it to the next level. Now it is necessary for him to play against the best competition available.

  • That serve was really nice at the beginning. He was like a spring! Sadly, my left handed serve is my weakness because I was taught how to play right handed first so my right hand was stronger than my left most of my life until I realised it shouldn't have been. I hope to play some singles tennis today. I won't be recording matches right away because I need to get my level up again.

  • Chris is really acting like a spring these days. He is getting off the court by a good two feet. This helps the first serve come in with a higher percentage.

Keep working your game. Post your skills just for the heck of it. You might even surprise yourself.
