Texas Music Magazine has a long and detailed article about Henry in the latest edition of their very fine publication. They care about the music and the musical history of Texas. It's the only non gardening magazine I subscribe to. I already knew about Henry from this video and that made it very cool to read about him in a premium publication. Thank y'all and then some.
This is some of the best out of tune music I've ever heard and I have heard a lot of it in my lifetime. Great historical footage of an obviously fine time. Thanks for posting it.
I read about him in the Dallas Morning News. They had photos of him and his house and tractor by the railroad tracks in Elmo. We drove to east texas and I recognised his house. We wanted to stop but never did. I bought his CD and play him often. I've always wished I had stopped and met him.
Man good to see this was talkin bout frog city and the festival out there and had to look it up never met ole henry but i know 8 and been out there more times than i can count... and i try to make the festival every time i'm in town...this is where it's at!!
I got one of his records I bought from Prince... I lived in Elmo for two years and I could hear the music coming from frog... I wish I knew where the house wuz..I would go!
My band is the Frog City Blues Band, the sons of Henry Qualls. We are still playing East Texas Country Blues at the same old house today. Now if u need to know the real story of Henry Qualls.
Thanks for posting this. I used to see Henry Qualls around Terrell and Elmo, just to nod to and say hows goin. Some friends of mine used to go to his house and listen to the music and maybe play some, wanted me to come along. Always meant to, just never got around to it. Thanks again.

Thanks for watching it. Henry was great and is sorely missed by many, may people.
Dallas Blues Society (DBS Records) owned by Chuck Nevitt caught Henry's music in exceptional ways.
Buy Henry Qualls' records! It is a great way to honor him.
