No, it is not the battery. We thought that also. Changed them every three months. My husband wrote the date on each battery before he put it in. Finally had to call the company that installed them and we were told about the moisture.
Thanks Leslie :) You pronounce my screen name tacar all ran together .funny story here I couldnt find a email name when we first got online so I thought how about Delete since I have to keep doing it so much .... well guess what that was taken too so I looked up delete in the spanish -english dictionary and tachar is what was there :) so tachar it was. I know kinda warped but he kids thought it was funny :)
So COOL sis, i was not aware you could microwave the stamp block and remove the rubber part, so cool, i really enjoy the fact that you show more than just your hands when you do a project, we can ask questions and you actually talk us through things on your video, its not just cut and dried. Amazing, it only took 20 seconds to remove the rubber stamp part on the stamp block, thanks sis.
I'm glad you mentioned your smoke detector - I thought it was mine. I kept waiting for my husband to yell from the next room "What IS that sound and can't you do something about it?!!!" I was thinking - just let me get through a few videos, and then I'll get back to house stuff!
@maureencmathis Those smoke detectors are going to drive me insane, well more than usual anyway. The "Technician" and I use that term loosely, said he could change them out but I'd have the same trouble later on. So much moisture in the air here in Oklahoma because of the freak snow storm.
You had me cracking up before you even told us what it really was.

@Shonz14nw Thank you Shonz for your comment. A good laugh now and then is a fine thing :-)

Oh that is a good thing to know, maybe ours has the same problem, it drove us insane as well.
It woke me up one morning and I wanted to rip it off the ceiling, but I couldn't reach.

I've read about this, just never saw it done. It is something to see it happen, though. Thanks Sis
