Well I smoked for over a year and just recently quit. First of all it calms you down. It's something to kind of hold on to and people like blowing out smoke. It's just kind of like chewing gum. Of course it's better not to smoke than to smoke so that's why I quit. People aren't lying when they tell you how hard it is to quit. At first when I quit it was easy because I didn't smoke any more than about eight a day anyway. But it hit me after about a week and now I understand how bad addiction is.
