you obviously don't get out much (or know about american dance history) with those comments. simply because you see a video from japan (or europe) doesn't mean that heart/passion and dedication is missing in america.

I think I may have figured out why these japanese dudes may have their moves down so synchronized and tight. Their moves remind me of the complicated martial arts choreography and also the Japanese circus acts which all have precisely timed multiple complex moves.
I could recognize Hiro's dance style a million miles away

This is yet another example of Asian or European cultures taking urban artforms and putting so much
heart into them that it both shames and amazes Americans when they see the work ethic and
dedication. This has been going on for decades dating all the way back to the jazz and blues eras.
