  • what was Kelsey Grammar thinking? He's spent all these years building a following who appreciate and admire and enjoy his comedic timing and delivery, then he says Forget you! I'll do something every other actor can do. I'll play a serious bad guy. Dumb move. I'll watch Frasier reruns instead.

  • I was really surprised by how much I liked this show. Most TV dramas have the quality of a High School art project. Leave it to Kelsey Grammar to bring intelligence back to network television.

  • They should have added "Like a" to the title. ;)

  • Great Trailer

  • I liked him (Kelsey Grammer) when he played in Cheers, I fell in love with in Fraiser, and now.... now I am absolutely MAD about him!!! Such an intelligent actor!

  • Hello, Chicago. I'm listening.

  • Awesome show.

  • Kelsey Grammer is a beast on this show. im from Chicago & he makes former mayor Richard J.Daley look like an alter boy. lol.

  • @26Deacon Yes he does. We love this show and what baffles us is that every character is so damned unlikable and unrelatable, yet the show is brilliant.

  • @TheTVTastic why arethey inrelatable. I think many people can relate to almost all of the characters due to there human flaws...I mean you have a drug addicted daughter whos shunned from her family which is very common especially in high profile families. you have sex ddicts poewerhungry politicians,,all very relaable to everyone in american society.and not only is Emma relatable she i so friggin hot its impossibl ot tolike her I frikken love her...and the other one from 90210 is sexy as fuxk to

  • @mistaeddiemoney First, let me point out that I gave the show a 95 out of a possible 100 when I reviewed it on the blog. Second, they are unrelatable not because of their flaws, but because they are nothing but flaws. Also, you're confusing unrecognizable with personally unrelatable. NONE of us know any people that are remotely like the swines on this show. That's my only point. Audiences cannot personally relate to any of these characters and share empathy with them.

  • Damn, Kelsey Grammer is looking like one bad-ass mother fucker! Much cooler than the bumbling fop he's always played before.

  • Frazier who?

  • Kelsey Grammer is totally riveting in this show. It's one of only two shows I try to never miss (the other one is Boardwalk Empire).

  • @kali999L whatever you say clayton bigsby....

  • @kali999L

    what? What is a Nigger?

  • this show is awesome!

  • Man I watched this on TV the other night ... Kelsey is just simply amazing. If anybody could ever play a kingpin character Kelsey can. This man is so talented.. I went from laughing at Kesley in Frasier to being scared to see Kesley Character in this TV show on the street. haha

  • Even after 7 years, separating Kelsey from his character "Frazier" is incredibly difficult, which was proven by the failed sitcom "Back to You." It would appear that "Boss" may be the first successful attempt at separating the conjoined persons of Kelsey and Frazier. I like what I see here, but Kelsey has a long way to go if he wants to separate himself from the character he played for over 20 years. He may never be able to accomplish this. It's hard to tell.

  • @Bradyhousetour I have no problem separating Kelsey from Fazier he in real lie is nothing lke razier ..he much more like his boss character or the dude heplayed in down periscope...a very underrated funny ass movie...

  • "LET THE STREETS RUN WITH SHIT!"

  • An amazing portrayal of BIG Richard Daley. First Prince of the Windy City. He was a crooked and ruthless as they come but he was an amazing manager/controller. He really helped and totally controlled Chicago, especially the organized unions and his son is dwarffed by his performance. If you see even one segment you will be obcessed to see the next. kelsey should get an emmy for his

  • I like this show and I love CHICAGO..yes its corrupt but so are most of the major cities in this country.

  • the lead could have easily been played by rick ross, which is also true for frasier.

  • Where's Niles?

  • Kelsey Grammer, like a boss

  • whats the backround song called?

  • @julio9991 Satan Your Kingdom Must Come Down

  • @aditkulkarni Thank you, but i was wondering about the first half, but its a good song as well.

  • @aditkulkarni whos it by??

  • @julio9991 wondering this myself. Not the theme song, but the song in the first half of the trailer, been trying to figure it out for a week.

  • Norm Petersen actually was mayor Chicago for a brief time in the early 80s.

  • Finally, new episodes of Frasier!

  • @strokesfan1107 this series is incredible.

  • i bet this character is more to the real kelsey grammer than frasier was...

  • everyone knew this show was gonna be good because they know how to say fuck

  • The weird part about this is on the very last show of Frasier after he was set to move to San Francisco to do his radio show. He got on another flight to Chicago to meet this woman he fell in love with back in Seattle. haha Kesley never skips a beat.

  • Hopefully this will be as big a hit as Starz is hoping, what with setting it up for a second season weeks before the first premieres.

  • @ThomasHale He is nothing like frazier hes a womanizing playa and he kills it in this role hands down...I liked cheers and frazier on cheers but I hated the show Frazier but I love Kelsey hes is very talented and multi demensional

  • Poor Niles...Frasier always gets all the attention...

  • :40 sec! boob

  • Holy Sh!t! Kelsey Grammer is such an amazing fucking actor. Why is this man not the lead in more Major Motion Pictures. Hey Studios! Stop miliking the same fucking all-effects-w/shit-actors, e.g.Transformers, and make more "Down Periscope"s!

  • I Hope if the production is Smart Enough to book CM Punk as guest star, Properly on the show, ps. I don't like Kelsey real life political view points, but I LUX the Bastard as an Actor....FOLLOW THESE TWITTS @314LoveMachine

  • Jeez, I hadn't even heard of this show until today, but Grammar's breadth and disposition are like a direct personification of Chicago's political machine. (almost like Richard M. Daley's stunt double) I can't wait to see this show, even if I don't have Starz. XD

  • EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO KNOW WHAT SONG THIS IS - SATAN YOUR KINGDOM MUST COME DOWN - ROBERT PLANT.

I use caps so everyone can see it. I don't normally use caps, but I felt this time it was necessary.

  • two girls making out ? AWESOME

  • Wheres Eddie?

  • Just saw the pilot episode on demand and thought this was an HBO show it was that good. It has already been renewed for a second season before the first episode has officially aired. Looking forward to seeing how this series played out.

  • I think :40 is the best part of this trailer

  • Good news! It will be a nice replacement for Game of Thrones.

  • Someone please explain. How are comments like "this looks good" by humpa and "I can't wait to watch this" by sgrho SPAM?

  • I saw Kenny Williams at the top and thought I was crazy.

  • Great first episode. check it out on starz.com for free

  • @llamadude99 Ok GUYS found the song. Its a cover of ''Satan your kingdom must come down'' I'm pretty sure this particular one is from Robert Plant /watch?v=NSaYpgjy-94 if its not the exact cover atleast you know the song title and you can search the interwebs for the real one.

  • Song name? I'm more interested int eh song at 1:01 than this show honestly lol..

  • I think they got the title from that book on Daley from the 70s.

  • Hey baby I hear the blues are calling... *gunshot*

  • Good morning San Francisco, this is Doctor Frasier Crane....

  • what song plays at 1:01?

  • Kenny Williams! Go SOX!

  • Only STARZ could make a show about being the mayor watchable...

  • ...seriously, though...what's the name of the song at the end of this? So good. The folksy sounding one...

  • "Like A Boss" should be the theme song of this show

  • I'll give this show a shot but it could go either way, its gotta be better than torchwood: miracle day. On a side note, I really wish u guys wouldnt have cancelled camelot, that was a pretty good show

  • Kelsey Grammar is a genius. Brilliant Actor and director

  • the song in background is kinda like eminem's lose yourself but its not, and i normally dont watch this kind of stuf but DANG the show looks gangsta

  • I hate it when TV portrays politicians as some intelligent and calculating beings. In reality, politicians are just filthy rats that can walk on two legs.

  • Frasier Crane is...BOSS

  • What are the names of the songs used in this trailer?

    Thanks in Advance :)

  • the mayor looks pissed 24/7 ,LOL. must be a one hell of a cit y to run

  • @shenglonglin Google image search Mayor Richard M. Daley, Chicago's mayor before Rahm Emanuel took the office earlier this year. That guy had a permanent scowl plastered on his face...

  • @shenglonglin YOU DNT KNOW CHICAGO AND THE MACHINE THAT RUNS IT. IT IS HELL UNDERNEATH ALL OF ITS BEAUTY!

  • Frasier Crane, like a boss <3

  • Holt SHIT this looks awesome

  • what is the name of the song in the backround?

  • Kellsey is a phenominal actor. I don't agree w/him politically but I try to shove that aside. I hope this show does really well.

From this trailer I can't tell if his character is trying to redeem himself at all or not (eg, evil to good)...

  • @phix95 My guess, from the trailer, would be no. He might be like HBO's Boardwalk Empire's Nucky Thompson, where the main character is evil where the audience is in the place of sympathizing with him, or like Fox's the Chicago Code where we see the corruption side of a hostile takeover of the city. Either way, if either, it looks badass.

  • @phix95 he an actor who gives a fuck about his politial beliefs ..hes not in politics so to even know what his views are is a waste of time ...fuckin losers man I cannot tell you how much of lser ou ae..o I just did I guess..

  • @mistaeddiemoney

He's a Republican, so to say he's "not" into politics is not accurate.

  • I smell an "actor in a dramatic role" Emmy for Kelsey Grammer.

  • Frasier. The original badman.

  • whats the name of the songs in this trailer?

  • Why watch this show when you can turn on the tv and watch the news?

  • They showed a teaser scene yesterday and it looked just awesome. I really can't wait for evil Kelsey.

  • @nemul AGREED! Want to watch this show but fuck Starz in it's ass!

  • This show is fuckin awesome, its on demand under top picks and I'm not just saying that cuz i was an extra or that its filmed I'm my city but because the shit is fuckin awesome

  • Sorry, a mean Kelsey Grammer = Side Show Bob.

  • frasier!

  • @julio9991 I can't help imagining a laugh track after every time he yells in this show

  • I'm actually waiting intently for this show. an angry grammer should be interesting indeed

  • force me to bootleg cause you killed netflix deal.. your stupid, $300 million just to show ur shit with a 90 day wait on new stuff WTF!!! ( i liked Camelot) i don't have Starz and have no intentions of paying my cable company for it. You lost your ass on this one. i hope Amazon buys "netflix" and f*ck ur ass hard.

  • @nemul p.s. prime membership $79.00 a year is less then $7.99 x 12 = $95.88... plus free 2 day shipping

  • thats my cousin with the oxygen thing between he nose thats so CoOL :)

  • Looks good!

  • I am amazed at the comments being so empty. This series looks to be one of the better of at least 2011. Kelsey Grammer has always been an inspiration to me and his acting is flawless. This looks great.
