  • does VIR use the Long box or the short box? Thanks!

  • I'm not the one to ask, since I'm driving a vintage V (68 Beach) which is surely a bit slower than a modern V. Although I will say that at the 45th birthday party at Savannah last year the lap time differences between vintage and modern cars was surprisingly small. I'll also mention that I was at VIR last weekend, and i still haven't gotten through the Hogpen nearly as fast as I should.

  • The other cars look like Zink C-4s which became obsolete back when I was racing in the late 70s.

    Nice description of the track.

Check the endplay on your front anti-roll bar, it looks like your front camber is changing depending on which way you are turning.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • Correct on the Zinks, although the white one is actually a C-5; difference from a C-4 is unknown to me. I was driving a 1968 Beach. The race was for vintage (pre-1970) Vees. I'll look into the apparently changing camber, thanks for pointing it out.
