i cant watch any vids! unless i favourite them and watch it on my channel.. but nothings been updated for me.. on my other comp youtube is different. but here its the same and the error "an error occured, please try again later" comes up all the time.. anyone who knows what to do?

I went to college 40 years ago and then went back about four years ago to update my education. One huge area of waste that is beyond ridiculous is the requirement of advanced math such as algebra for ALL major, even art and language majors. Everyone needs basic arithmetic, but all people DO NOT need such stringent requirements in math! Half the high school kids are dropping out of community college because they can't pass the stupid math in their first year! Less math more civics!!

There are 80,000 people imprisoned for non violent technical parole violations that are costing billions. The sentencing laws must be changed but the state legislators are running the bureaucracy off the human bondage industry, so they won't do this. We need to do away with the conveyor belt laws. Stealing a watermelon out of a field where they are rotting is a felony. What a waste of money!

We Californians want all our services but aren't willing to pay for them. CCSF workers need to understand that there isn't a magic money pot to just dip our ladle into. The City's biggest expense is payroll and we -- at least until things improve -- need to find the least painful way to axe about $100 million. As a pink slip recipient, I'm not thrilled about yet another pay cut, but it's much better than unemployment or lack of benefits. Hoping for a prefereable furlough solution over this 37.5.

As a temp mayor, you'll still have a job. Just that there is no guarantee that you will continue to keep your job for the full term.

Gavin Newsom and managers should be hired as part-timers too to make it truly fair. The anger isn't about the 6.25% pay cut, the anger comes from putting the employees in the temp classification. Why don't have a temp mayor!?

This process (of addressing services, jobs, and, the budget shortfall,) should continue to include opportunities for the employees and their Union Reps to come up with real alternatives in an effort to avoid all of the unintended consequences of the current idea. This proposal ("part time" employment,) could last for many, many years even as times begin to improve. As such, 1, 2, and 3 year proposed solutions should also continue to be considered until we all reach the point of no return.

I live in Southern Ca but I am a native from the South Bay Area and I just recently moved down here from the East bay. I have watched Newsom throughout the years and he never ceases to impress me. The fact that he is not running for Governor makes me so sad---I think that despite some of his personal missteps, he is innovative, a realist and a very down to Earth politician. This idea will save SO many jobs with everyone pitching in to help---I love it!
