Something there was set up very, very wrong. Cars, especially race cars, are designed so that the gas tank never explodes like that. It is obvious that the tank on the second car exploded on impact and the fuel ignited. It looks like the porsche driver (the one who you see get out) obviously survived. I really doubt that the ferrari driver survived, despite what people say. His clothes must have been doused with the burning fuel after that.

First off the race should have been under a full course cautions for that much rain, remember a camera has better view than our eyes, the conditions were probably 30% worse. Poor race officials judgement.

No he was flashed burned but was ok! If you watch when the camera goes back to the red car you see a yellow can pull over, the video doesn't go far enough because the driver of the yellow car gets out and uses his extinguisher to put the flames out in the red car then pules the driver out. The driver of the red car survives also
