@EMPTECLIP5E Honestly I was slightly dissapointed with the beta, but I love it now. It is not BC2 with prone tho, because they changed vehicle gameplay style (jets, dissable vehicle), they've added more diverse unlocks, improved engine (new graphics, better destruction), added team death match, improved upon the team play aspect and they have changed it were you die much quicker. MW3 has just changed up the way you do what you did before.

The graphic quality isn't that great, could be attributed to toning down for a smaller DL size. Also, the party system sucked dick. The games would be long enough if they consisted of just one round, but they have multiple rounds, I honestly have no idea how many rounds are in a match because I've had to leave mid-game every time. Finally, the hit detection could use some tweaking. This seemed as good a place as any to rant.
Did you play Medal of Honor? A lot of the graphics (guns specifically) are straight from MoH. I read an article several months ago and Dice used BFBC2 and MoH as test platforms for things they wanted to put into BF3. I played a lot of MoH and I know I can see the MoH influence upon this game.
Modern Warfare 3 (compared with BF3) has lesser good graphics (enhanced MW2), static lighting/shadows, shadows don't move or are baked animations (not dynamic), you can't shoot out light sources, good character animation, no destruction, lesser realism, smaller maps, no vehicles, more game modes, very good (usually with MW) campaign, fast paced, easier to play, arcade style gameplay, great run and gun multiplayer, perks and killstreaks.
Battlefield 3 (compared with MW3) has better graphics, dynamic lighting/shadows, you can shoot out light sources to change gameplay, trees move in the wind, better character animation, macro/micro destruction, more realism, better sound, more weapons, more weapon attachments, bigger maps, vehicles, helicopters, jets, less game modes, longer campaign, tactical style gameplay, great team based multiplayer, 100 hours of unlocks per kit, and no killstreaks.
@RE4LKLuTcH sorry, but you are wrong, cod have cutscenes and animations (=static not dynamic graphics). cod's IW Engine has static lighting (=old technology), and in cod you can't fly and drive vehicles as you can in battlefield, and the destruction in cod is pathetic.
