i have used iphone 3g and i think htc diamond is better for work and with performances that htc have, iphone 3g is a toy =) it havent got any java support

does the HTC touch diamond wi-fi connect to internet even if u dont get those really expensive data plans with ur cellular provider? like can i just get a cheap plan and then use its wi-fi capabilities to use open internet networks?

i have a question, i just got this phone today. & im trying to connect the internet. but yet it wont work ! can you use the internet anywhere you go ? or you can only connect to your modem at home?

Do you have servive? Otherwise, connect the phone to your PC and browse the internet with internet sharing enabled. I do it all the time!

I do it to test browsers, and I simply made a friendly suggestion; the phone I use is old and doesn't actually have service. My current device is an Omnia (Which has service). Browsing the web with my phone while it's connected is actually quite useful for my friends and family. We only have so many computers (Read: 1). So, if somene's already using the computer, someone else can use my phone if they also want to browse the web. Do you understand now?
