I've used a semi-permanent colour on top on my natural hair... I haven't used any hair dye before I applied this one.... with this product return my hair to its natural colour?
hiya i used this and it went just like ur color but 3 days in its started going really dark at the bottom of my hair and even lighter on the roots please if there is anything i can do to correct this as i dont want to go back to dark hair my own color is brown i just dont no what to get to fix it :((
does it make everyones hair go ginger? ive died mine a dark brown and im a natural dark blonde and i really want to go back! looks really nice on you though! xxx
something to remember if you ever use colourb4 again - don't use any dyes that have developer(peroxide) in it for at LEAST a week. The peroxide in the dyes will cause the old colour to come back if it wasn't all removed in the first place. So say you used colourb4 to get rid of a black dyejob. If afterwards you used a semi/demi/permanent dye that has developer in it, you would end up dark again. Stick to the 6-8 wash no peroxide/no ammonia dyes. even then, your hair is porous, so time it well!
i died my hair full on ginger lol... I then bleached it tons and ended up "dark blonde" its making my hair hurt thinking about it lol.. Thanks for the tip though xxx
@MissBudgetBeauty haha! i could never do as much to my hair that you've done to yours, since mines is naturally curly its even more prone to dryness and breakage! oh and btw, lee stafford has brought out some new products, he has the Hair Growth Treatment in a shampoo and conditioner version, and has his own argan oil out :) xx
@megabethbob that will happen if the darker dye you were trying to remove has stained your cuticle. It will remove all it can but the more dry/damaged your hair is the more it retains darker/brighter colours and they become harder to remove! You need to tone the "ginger" x
im going to try this! im naturally blonde and ive been dying my hair a dark reddish brown for a few years, i went to the hairdressers and ive had 2 sets of highlights to try and lighten it that way but its just too expensive
the only thing is that i have a good few inches of blonde root, so do you think after using the colourb4, if i dyed it a dark blonde/ash brown it would even it out? :) <3
I wish I watched this video earlier on. I tried to remove the colour in my hair which is pink and blue...bloody hell : ( waste of £10. I didn't know that it didn't remove colour stain.... :( Very disappointing
amazing. I dyed my hair Bright red (permanently) and then did and ultra light blonde, and it still looks quite orangey, so I'm going to try this product (If i can find where i can get it..A beauty supply store?) and I hope it gets the red out of my hair. :) (my hair is naturally dirty blonde with a slight red tint)
hiya, im naturally an ash blonde colour, but ive been dying it for years and years startting from a light bloned then waited till it got about 5 inches grown out before dying it a deep dark red colour and then brown on top and it went black (unwanted) but anyway cause ive been dying it for so long and in so many colours do you think that i will mannage to get most of the dye out ?
@plopcheese depends on how long your roots are! if you have long roots and very dark/red coloured hair you're not going to get an even result from this but it will lift it enough for you to bleach it or colour it while minimising the damage x
ive dyed my hair since i was 16, maybe once every few months and my hair started out, i think, a mousy brown kinda colour, but ive dyed it brown, dark brown, to red, to black, then i bleached it which turned it the colour you have now (which i LOVED), then dyed it red and keep dying it a dark red colour, now i bought the COLOUR B4 EXTRA so what do u think i can expect when i put this on my hair? im not bothered if it doesnt go to the original colour, but just want it so much lighter?
I have naturally medium brown hair, then i dyed it bright red (without bleaching it) and then over the top of the red, i dyed it black. Ive bought colour b4 and wondering, do you think it will return brown or red (bare in mind the red was lighter than my natural brown colour) or will the chemicals in the remover also vanish the red artificial colour?
@MissBudgetBeauty Hey I applied it twice and its worked fabb!! im back to my natural colour, i thought id have red roots or something but there was no red in sight! Im so hapy with the result and wud recomend it to any1, it dusnt dqmage ur hair either! Thanks for the tutorial, it helped me decide whether to buy it or not and im so glad i did :) xxx
do you think this would work for me?: i am naturally light brown i highlighted it blonde dyed it brown highlighed it blonde again dyed it brown again dyed it red dyed it blonde and it turned out ginger tried to dye it blonde again (still ginger) dyed it brown dyed it black do you think the strongest one will take me back to my natural color?
@lolbeans if your hair has been hughlighted at all it will never return to its natural colour but it will lift it so you can then bleach/highlight/colour it to what you want with less damage to your hair
i'm naturally ginger, and my hair was dark brown, and ive been dieng it for about 2 years every month or something, so i had colour build up, then i used this and i put a hair dryer on for about a minute, then left it on for near an hour. and i'm practically ginger again. ginger with a hint of ash brown. and im gonna die red on top soon :D
i tried this a couple of days ago and it turned out really nice. :} but i bought a dye to put a permanent over it (i didnt know until after that semi-permanent are better. -_____- ) and it turned back to the colour i had before i used colour b4. so i bought abother colour b4 today and am probably going to use it tomorrow. :') i really liked the results.
i am gonna wash my hair and try this 1 2nd time after my temp 3 wash hair colour runs out, missbudgetbeauty i actually like the colour of your hair and wouldn't mind if it came out like that but i have white hair too so i am gonna haveto colour over it anyways
@MissBudgetBeauty my bottom half of hair are dark lol but the top which was like 65% white is now the gingery colour so now my problem is getting the bottom to match the top which can be any colour i like now as it is really light....
I used this product, I dyed my hair black for around a year and fancied a change so I used this product in extra strength, left it on for around half hour. and my hair went quite similar to yours, like a gingery brown. I know what you mean, I kind of liked the colour it went myself, but I was worried what other people would've thought of it, so I then put a Shaders and Toners in Rich Mahogany on my hair, it's not gone a bit darker brownand with a hint of red. I'm happy with the results. :)
just to tell you if you live near a bodycare it is ony £7 and a tip it works juat aswell is you do it 2 times (use half the mixture and then do it again ) and if you do it again use a hairdryer cos i did that and it turned my hair from black to almost blond x
i wanna go back to my natural colour (light brown) and am thinking about trying this, but I have bleached my hair blonde and dyed my hair dark brown after that (current colour.) do you think it will turn out even or at least take out the colour properly? :}
Hey i died my hair tday for the first time, im naturaly a brown-ish ginger colour and i dyed it medium brown by garnier herba shine, and my mum didn't apply it propperly so it's gone all patchy and darker than i would of liked, would you recomend this product? please help :(!
@MissBudgetBeauty is that with dying it repeatedly? just ive been dying my hair brown, multiple times over the last couple years and really wanting my blonde hair back and it worked so well on your hair, wanting to try it but not sure how well it will work on mine :| will have to try it lol, wish me luck ^,^ Xx
i have been blonde/brunette/blonde/brunette so many times over the years my hair is damaged and very pourous so the colour stains my hair.. that's why it didn't restore it completely but the results I did get were fabulous for a product without peroxide... i then bleached my hair to blondewhich took some time, I'd recommend using colour b4 and then getting highlights to gradually go blonde over a few months, much better for your hair x
I have dyed my hair 3 times black this year but now i'm a dark brown colour do you think that product would be worth a try on at least making my hair a bit lighter? btw i think youre hair looks amazing :Dxx
@megahnnx aww thanks! and yes 100% it will lift colour from your hair... it may not take you right back to natural but itr will def lift it some! are you wanting to go blonde or just a lighter brown? x
@megahnnx well what i used was good 4 me... if id done the colour xl bleach and then started using the toner shampoo i bought from sallys i could have cut out much unecassary bleaching to my hair and damage! so thats what i would recommend... i leave the toner shampoo on for like an hour to let it work tho x
i used colour before.. it took all the articial colour off, but i had bleach on so it left the yellowy, orange streaks haha. but its all good:) it says it does that.
hey. i Have dark brown hair and was wondering if you think it would work on my hair colour? My roots are alot lighter as ive bene trying to grow it out but im just so impatient i want it done now haha. im hoping to dye my hair a red once i get rid of this dark brown? argh i need some help i dont want to end up with crazy two tone hair
@cherryrolacola1 you will still prob have two tone hair coz it's likely the brown will leave a residual stain...it's not likely its going to take it all out but possible! it wont do anything to your roots because as i said theres no colour in this product so it will only remove colour already on hair not lighten/damage uncoloured hair! I WOULD TOTALLY DO THIS IF I WERE YOU! it will give you a light enough base to go red...you're roots are probably gonna be a touch more vibrant x
Your right, it's a brilliant product for what it can do! I bought some of this the other day and just trying to make time to do :D can't wait :P x Great video btw, thanks was very helpful.
@MisssLadyRose i've done it! i'm blonde...i videod the events and it was pretty hellish but i'm like a honey blonde,,, watch out for the video this afternoon x
@MisssLadyRose when i do mine next i'll do a video step by step... i want to try and correct it and tone down the pink, go caramel with blonde highlights/chocolate low lights...tricky but if i manage it you totally could! i've been dying my hair myself for like 12 years or something...easy! trial and error x
@MisssLadyRose well i always figure if you're going lighter worst thing you dye it back dark right? the scary thing is always going blonde to dark...you can't go back from that lol...although with this new wonder product It will take you part of the way there! If my hair wasn't so damaged and porus it wouldn't hold on to the colour so much anyway! would work better for people with better condition hair
@MisssLadyRose yeah I've been blonde a lot - check out my "changing faces of me" video... I've pretty much tried it all... I havent settled on one colour that I think I'll stick to though, I like it blonde but I like it dark too... I'm experimenting with red now, accidentally or not lol... I think I'll go redder before I do anything else, I'd like a caramelly color maybe when I do go blonde again x
@hairluv79 I guarantee I'll be back dark within 3 months lol.... probably within 1 lol... I'm the least decisive person ever, I love change! And I feel like this colour is on the way to something else... I just don't know what yet lol. As for "REAL LIGHT" i mean natural light lol...not shade/ flourescent lighting which you can't tell true colour in xoxo
@Zoeebella Thanks so much! yeah I've been using my cybershot instead of my webcam. I don't feel quite so animated using it though 'cause I can't see myself... bit strange to get used to, do you think it still looks okay? I'm getting used to the hair, I still have a temporary red to use so I might try that for a real funky red, I think maybe the pink clashes with the colour I have now x thanks for watching x
i had proper dark brown hair, i used colour B4 and it went really light brown :L

the contrast between the pink and the ginger isn't right at all! i think you can only have two toned hair with natural colours cause it looks tacky!

@MisssLadyRose oh just do it!!! it's so much fun lol...but video the process!!! xoxo
