  • Thank you, students. It was a striking visual. You spoke for me and hundreds of those I know.

  • I don't agree with anything he has ever said, but that protest was far from interesting and was by no means critical resistance. That kind of stuff makes "liberals" look dumb and self-aggrandizing. Make a real difference and listen to what dummies like Ashcroft have to say, or at least let other people listen. Cause it sucked dick.

  • This is an intelligent and visually striking protest, props to all involved.

  • "Maybe we all need to get black hoods."

  • We wil never forgive Ashcroft's fearmongering and treason.

  • Ashcroft's treason? You are the traitor. explain to me what is wrong with Guantanamo because there is nothing wrong with it. The terrorists there are luck to be alive. What are we supposed to do put them as Ashcroft said back on the battlefield to take another shot. You people are a bunch of wimps. Toughen up.

  • Please check out our other videos for information about our message! More to come soon!

  • Ashcroft says "your government". What the hell? So he's not under the same government as we are? Interesting slip of the tongue, I'd say. He thinks he's above the law, lecturing to us "under" the law. This is unAmerican.

  • Uh oh. People are applauding. Better call John Kerry.

  • Cornell is touted as one of the finest universities in the US and the world. Yet it's clear that the majority of the audience were either passively accepting or in favor of the Ashcroft legacy.

What is the purpose of a university. A. only went to Cornell because he was expecting a complacent supportive audience and he mostly got it. There can be no truth to power when the powerful only want to control the truth through the access to institutions.

  • He was allegedly paid $30,000. I believe the University of Colorado paid him $20,000 for his talk at their university two days prior.

As these Bush Administration war criminals go on "tour" around the country, people are going to stand up to them. Anyone need some hoods?

  • bravo!!

  • Talk about being tone deaf, Asscroft is up there stalking the stage while releasing hot air from his pie hole. The silent exit by the patriots said more than any shouting could do. He's apparently immune to that. Well done Cornell!

How much did the University shell out this clown anyway?

  • at maxwelk, we voluntarily left after standing silently for about 15 minutes. The ithaca police were quite friendly and even chatted with some of us outside the auditorium after. No students were cited or disciplined in any way.

  • Well done, students. Keep up the good work. Hopefully, America will be redeemed in your lifetime.

  • Does anyone have news of the results? Did they voluntarily leave, or were they told to leave, or were they arrested? A question from those of us too lazy to Google.

  • I find it really sad no one had some special parking words for Ashcroft on their super quiet exit. I would have at least opened my mouth.

  • None of these war criminals should be allowed to make money on speaking engagements! This should be done relentlessly!

  • Nice work.

Monsters like this should not get a free ride.

  • This is fucking AWESOME!!! I wish more people would stand up for truth...Fight The Power!!!

  • Listen to the fear he's pushing on people in the background. He isn't even making an argument - does anyone believe what he's saying? LISTEN PEOPLE!!!
