Wow! Just caught some of his 'Clair de Lune' on CBC radio on my way to work this morning. I had never heard of Jean Efflam Bavouzet before I went looking for the artist who played it.
Debussy has been my favourite composer since I was a kid and his is the best performance of it I have ever heard!
I'll be buying the Chandos Debussy series for sure!

WOW! It's my first time to see Mr. Bavouzet play! I have his Ravel set and Liszt released on MDG. It's marvellous as this playing is. Thanks so much. :-)
