im really considering doing this to my 95.. i have a 4l60e and im sure a carb motor would not work with it. do you think that a 700r4 would bolt in without to much modifying? and also do you have to get a new driveshaft?

and also how difficult is it to change out the frame mounts for the 350 block? ive read that you have to cut into the frame to access them, but it seems that you didnt?

Dude, that is 1 bad ass truck!! I have a 91' Chevy short bed myself, still riding it 369,842 miles all original. But wanna trick out the motor and truck completley. Similar to what you have. Is that carburated or fuel injected,some people say if your gonna drive it everyday, stick with fuelinjected??

lol everyones askin about the fenders. read up guys...hes gonna paint the whole thing eventually. im guessing its gonna be the same blue all around? nice color btw. i would say take a claybar to the fenders until you get around to the full paint job but it looks like bc/cc so nvm

the blue in the engine bay looks great, you could probably wipe the paint off of the outside if theres no clearcoat, well it might take some effort

Nice truck dude! Ive got a 69 Chevy C10 I built a 383 stroker for! they are wicked motors! What did yours make on the dyno? I saw the shot of it strapped in! mine made 450 hp and 479 ft lbs. AFR heads demon carb. I see you have a single plane intake, what kind of torque numbers did you make down low? I was makin 430 ft lbs by 3k! Also I notice your running the Indy 500 tires w/ lettering on insde. Mine are on the outside I love the look! But the best is how quick they smoke the place out!!

Thanks man , under the hood got 3 or 4 coats of blue poly and 2 coats of clear,didn"t want a tape line , gotta get the rest of paint laid out when i'm not out rippin the rubber off the rear.gotta love it
