Thd best tekken is always the latest (for now is tekken tag 2). Everyone who knows how to play it properly (not just button bash not knowing whats happening) knows that. Those who would argue that the past are the best are just those losers who are were never good at playing tekken. Playing this game requires talent if you have none fuck off.

i will say that if we do a tekken 6 vs 5 then yeah T6 s better as a pvp game, and its really fun vs player, but there are things that annoy me. one is music, i really dont like music in T6, and i dont like looks of most maps, and then story. story goes trough senario, and that game mode sucks, while devil within is awsome. but the thing in T5 is that you cant wear a neck chain and gloves at the same time xD but music, i mean maybe in story mode, the inro and such is amazing.

the boss is so hard! it paralyses you every time you come to him! i cant even beat him as panda at all! i faced him liturally 10 times as panda and lost every round. and just when im about to win BAM he cheats and uses magic. that just proves that he cant fight and that he is a coward

review on fighting games are quite unnecessary since it will only become as addictive once youve become real good in it. Im not really that good in the game but if you see some good players of it on amusement parks, it was quite impressive. Being good at this game doesnt only requires skills. it also needs lots of talent. By the way, good review.... : )

actually theres tekken 5 office or some thing for the ps2 in that version you can go online and play agenst other players it's only in japan though. you can see it in a video in the same game in tekken theater mode where you can watch the charecters ending and stuff.

I wouldn't agree that Jinpachi is cheesy..he's just hard to beat most of the time because he shoots fireballs from his stomach/devil mouth and he does a stomping move that stops your character's movements(which really pisses me off everytime he uses that move)

@gonen32 That was its downfall. The game was too fast, you could rub moves out and shitter people off. Apart from Tekken being a cheesy fighting system it was a grate game. The speed was so fast you couldn't inticipate what your opponent was doing!

yh i had tekken 4 and it wasnt that gr8, the stroy was kinda similiar to 3 and nothin major happened. but with 5 they kind fixed up tthe fightin a lot more, and the new characters r brilliant. stroy aswell is 1 of the best

Iseetacos,I have both,and this is what I recommend: Virtua Fighter 4 is more nuanced, more detailed,but it demands a lot of discipline, focus,practice.But once you give it those things, it is glorious.I think that it's the best fighting game ever made.Tekken 5 is still very good,and you can have heaps of fun without putting in half the time as VF 4. I'd say pick up Tekken 5 unless you are willing to invest a lot of time in VF 4,as in two or three hours daily, for weeks.Both are excellent though.
