Lol! I got a kick out of your pile of snow...that is actually the car! Glad you all are still warm. Just wait till the temperature is in the teens or lower and the winds blow! That is when we start to get cold even with prep. Its all an adventure right?
@CampColombo That's a Ford Taurus under there! It belongs to the couple we're renting our site from. This morning it is 5F with howling winds and blowing snow. Wind chill is 18 below (again, F). =:-O We're actually doing fine, although the furnace is running a lot of course. Good thing we're hooked up to that big external propane tank (checked the level yesterday... plenty). We're not stepping out the door today! lol
With all that snow,it's almost an igloo on wheels ;-) If not,at least that car is,you only know it's a car because of the antenna sticking out of it.

It's bad to be on your roof in the winter because everything is brittle. You can use a ladder and something to drag the snow off of each side.
