All lasers sold from Ebay company's are "fake" because they have no [IR] Filter.

For example: A 200 mW laser like this one might have a maximum of 50mW 532nm (50 mW visible green light)

the other 150 mW is pure Infra red radiation which is dangerous, invincible and very bad for your eyes.

I hope for your sake that you wear protective glasses. Even though you don't watch directly into the beam, the IR-radiation can still fuck up your eyes.

Yer. I bought one off ebay (200mw) and just where it has been shining at the wall it has fucked my eyes up. It is soo bright! It has been 3 days now and i see light black splodges like when you look at the sun and everything looks "grainy".

Exactly. The IR has probably fucked up your eyes. I'd recommend you to stop playing with the laser, or at least buy a pair of IR protective goggles if you wan't to keep your vision.

about 2 hours or so (well the one i'm gettin, which takes 2 aaa batteries). doesn't sound like a lot but 2 hours is quite a long time to play about with a laser and batteries are cheap as fuck anyway.
