Alot of people gave this movie a bad rap since it was a creation of W.S. Anderson...I personally was surprised when I saw this movie in the theater. I bought it on blu ray and can watch this flick over and over. I think a video game based on this film would really work . BTW...Joan Allen is a perfect governess. I just wish they would have had her get more frisky with Frank...like the sexual deviant whore that she should be.

this is shit, and the reason is, i already know how its gonna happen.. innocent prisoner, wins race, turns out he was set up some how and then after hes won he has to go face to face with the organisers that have turned on him.... all its done is mirrored the condemned. why cant they just have a story where a savage killer wins and earns his freedom.. why does it always have to be someone who was innocent all along?
