  • 3500 for a rebuild. 2000 for a new one from yamaha.

  • i could have sworn they stopped making the 426's in 2001... i must have been told wrong

  • @Tiddler19 the guy seell me for 2.500 is it a big deal?

  • How much did you sold it im planning buying this from my friend how much does it worth anyones?

  • that rear tire is fucked

  • my cousin had one ti was a mean bike he broke his back racing it lol

  • Im 15, jewish, and have brown hair. Would this be a good bike for me?

  • Is that a stock pipe for an 02 or a later year?

  • @yamahamonk stock pipe

  • @Tiddler19 wher did u get the graphics

  • @gadog420 Face Lift Unlimited designs

  • what is the best place to buy graphics kits for bikes

  • @iTZZAV3Rage depends on what kind of bike you got, 426 was rare to get a good one on. i like Face Lift Unlimited designs for the 426.

  • are they hard to start after you fall i know alot of 4 strokes are hard to start

  • 450's are better

  • holy crap that pipe is huge!

  • Sorry if this is a dumb question, but..

Would this be an OK learner bike?

I"m 15 and want to get back into riding after almost 10 years of not dirt biking.

  • @JackoTheMonkey this would not be a good bike to start out on at all. it is very tall, and pushing out almost 60 hp. thats way too much power for the shy or un experienced. i would recommend something more in the lines of a trail bike for you. crf230 or something.

  • @Tiddler19 how would a yz426f get 10 more horsepower than a 450??? 450's have around 49-50

  • @fistpumpguido this one is not stock, but stock they pull anywhere from 50-55hp stock. a stock 450 has around 55.

  • @JackoTheMonkey I ride a CRF230f and it's a great bike and all but I also have a CRF20x and I like the 250 wayy better. The 230 is fun for a little but it eventually gets a but underpowered. And like you I am 15 so it would probably be okay for you. As long as you don't gun it and crack your head open. And eventually you can move up to this bike like me.

  • @JackoTheMonkey dont get a race bike for your first bike a crf230 is a good choice. after some time move to a 250f race bike.

  • @JackoTheMonkey 15 years old and you haven't ridden in 10 years? Haha... sorry man, that's just funny. For your own safety, you should consider yourself on the same riding skill level as someone who has never ridden a dirtbike before. I'm not sure how tall you are, but if you are over 5-7 or 5-8, you could maybe get a Honda XR250, but they are kinda tall bikes.... or if you're shorter, you could get a Yamaha TTR125 or a Honda CRF230F, or try to find an old used 125cc 2-stroke.

  • @JackoTheMonkey no this bike would be terrible to learn on. at the most you would want a 250f

  • It's awesome ! I get my yamaha yz426 with the same graphic kit and even better condition (hopefully the engine, too) and I can't wait to ride it :)

  • almost identical to my bike

  • thats a nice looking 426

  • needs new tyre

  • do these bikes have the same maintenance as the yz450fs, like engine rebuilds and that good stuff.

  • @defjourney1 oh yeah, change the oil every 4 hours of riding kinda thing. exact same motor as the 450, besides the bore and the structure of the crank. you hop on a steel frame yz450 then hop on a yz426f, you wont feel much difference if any. ive passed 450`s on this.

  • @Tiddler19 hey is there any racin bike that dosnt need rebuilding god damn man that shit gets old spent 2k this year on a crf250r, how about those ktm 525s they any good

  • @defjourney1 any bike out there requires work at some point, the ktm's are great, they dont exactly last longer. but the two stroke ktm's noticeably last longer. the 525 is in my opinion the toughest motor built by ktm. im planning on getting the ktm 525xc quad.

  • @defjourney1 get a 2 stroke.. you can rebuild the entire motor for $900.

  • @Tiddler19 so like after a day of riding you have to change the oil>?

  • 3400 dollars on a rebuilt engine WTF!! a Complete top and bottom end kit for my 2 stroke cost 400 dollars.

  • @02hondacr125 yeah its alot, but everything was replaced, literally, the engine cases and clutch cover were the only things i didnt have replaced.

  • @Tiddler19 Thats cool, but i would have kept it for all the stuff you did to it.

  • @02hondacr125 yah i know, i really regret trading it. it was basicaly a brand new bike when i sold it.

  • you spend 3400 dolars on a rebiuld thats kind of a watse to spend that kind of money then sell it right away

  • 426 THE BIGEST P.O.S. EVER

  • you need an exaust cam and a rear tire

  • @pitbull426 ya after i did the vid, before i sold it i repacked the exhaust and replaced the rivits, and gave an new tire with the sale of the bike.

  • does it have a different siliencer or is it just the end cap. because i would like to put it on my 400

  • @redhondaluv ..... its just a stock exhaust pipe with a stock tip. i know on the 400's they have the tube style bend tip. but both pipes are the same, you can either find the tip or just switch pipes.

  • I like the black gripper

  • dude what year of plastic kit is that??

  • its a 2009 FLU (face lift unlimited) TS1 full graphics kit. i knew i would kick myself in the ass for selling it. i had almost 8k into that bike. now im selling my 03 RX-1 just so i can go buy another motocross bike.

  • it looks really nice!!

too bad that you sold it!

  • nice job on the bike !did u get what u wanted for it? ive got a 01 yz426f.

  • Sound evil lol nice man i would buy that is i was from U.S but i stay away in scotland but i would deffo pay 2000 thousand pound any day bud :)
