And Mario has lifted 2 tons before. And Sonic can't even fly without the help of his gay lover Tails. And in "Sonic Unleashed", Sonic turned into "Super Sonic" and Robotnik drained the power from him even when he was "all powerful". But when Mario grabs a star, he can't lose it until he runs out. Not to mention he goes just as fast as Sonic when he uses it. Mario can use a bunch of items to thwart Sonic like: Fire Flower, Cape, Mega Mushroom. TBC...

Heck, Mario can even roll into a ball (With Rock Mario) a la Sonic. Mario has just the same moves as Sonic. He just needs to equip a few Items first. Mario is stronger by default. As far as I'm concerned, SEGA works for Nintendo now. Mario saved Nintendo's business. Sonic, didn't do crap. In fact, Sonic 1 Mobile edition is the best selling Sonic game. That is pretty bad. Fan boys even hate Sonic 4 already! SEGA doesn't care about you or anybody.
