@Pathrone Not sure what you're asking, but the movie is called Serenity and it's been out for a long time now. The movie is great, the series (Firefly) is greater, and Joss is a legend. Check it out for sure if you haven't already.

While I do love the show and the film it makes me sad that I only became aware of it after its demise. I would have loved to have been part of the movement that brought about the film Serenity.

Serenity gave Firefly the respectable finish it deserved after all that FOX did to screw over the show. Its a shame though all the minor stories (e.g. the two men with the blue exam gloves "two by two hands of blue"), nuances, and build up to what would have been the series finale died when it was cancelled.

The second thing I would do would be to bribe the Fox executives with all this money in order to prevent this brilliant show from being prematurely canceled and Serenity ever being made.

Oh, and I would probably go to the 40s and see if Hitler really has only one testicle...

Every single time I watch this, I imagine a preview audience of Browncoats going absolutely bug-nuts!!! The noise must have been insane! And the grins and tears around the room on the final lines ("We have done the impossible. And that makes us mighty. *smile of a man who's gone thru hell and arrived at the helm of a Major Motion Picture* ...welcome to Serenity.") would have been very gratifying indeed.

I was fortanate enough to witness this intro in theaters. Yep, I went to a preview screening, point of fact, it was the third and final preview screening that was held in June 2007. Just like you said, sitting there among fans was just a blast, nothing is ever going to compare to it. Not ever. Being able to enjoy all the same jokes, getting the same references. It was a very beautiful thing.

At Can't Stop the Serenity this year, in the pre-show video, he said that he wants to make another movie. He just doesn't have the funds.

He said something about, if us fans give him the money and enough is raised, he will gladly tell us more of his great world and story.

Well, finally it was indeed a flop, but not in quality!! Thanks, Mr. Whedon, for bringing this great story to a "proper" ending. I love this show so much - just because it isn`t such a mega blockbusting, mass compatible production!! It`s a small one with grumpy, simply likeable characters, an exotic, sometimes strange but all the way exciting story - which WASN`T told a thousand times before in other shows and movies!! The mixture btw. classical Western elements and a SciFi background is absolutely unique (so far) in movie history, and makes Whedon the creator of something completely new in storywriting!!
