  • best version of the song. her voice is so beautiful.

  • I'm torn between the Ronettes or Johnny Mathis' version being my favorite of this tune. I love hearing both this time of year.

  • This is the best-sounding offering of thee group shown.

  • Wow I had no idea they sang this version!!

  • one of the best Chistmas songs ever !!

  • LOVE THIS FUCKIN SONG!

  • is that Lucy van Pelt?

  • I defy you to listen to this and not feel better for it.

  • Great classic, but it's not specifically about Christmas. It's about taking a horse and sleigh ride in the winter.

  • There is one moron, who gave 'i don't like'....

    But I like it ; )

  • This is still by far the very best! Unbeatable! Keep it up!

    Greetings,

    Horatio Nelson.

  • The sincerity and passion of Ronnie's vocal here is peerless , breathtaking ......

  • K.T. Tunstall also did a version of this song that is very good as well.

  • What a great version. A modern classic.

  • Ugh the Spice Girls try to copy how the Ronettes sing this classic. But there is NOOOO comparison. This is the best!

  • @albert3285 I REALLY ENJOY IT ALSO

  • Love this

  • Love this one! I think it's the great Hal Blaine on drums.

  • It is and Steve Douglas on sax.

  • Great version of this song. Thanks for the post. The Ronettes were great. And (although he's in trouble now) Phil Spector was/is a genius as a record producer.

  • @Rollin558 Yeah. And it's not only trouble. The guy ended up been a psycho. But as a producer, the guy was a genius. Just like Charles Manson, look how good of a composer he is. Great songs.

  • wonderful

  • im only 12 and this song is fantastic woo! x matty x

  • Amazing Job!!

    LOVE this song

makes me smile everytime i hear it!

  • This is the best christmas album ever recorded

  • it was released the day JFK was killed

  • Really?!!! I never knew that! Wow! I love this version, because it's swinging! Thanks for the lost trival info, because who would have ever guessed a song so beautiful has that connection, to such a tragic day in hisory.

  • an american christmas classic

  • Precious Xmas sound, so sweet their voices...

    Merry Xmas everybody!!!!!!!

  • The holidays are almost here!

  • Great video-captures the spirit of the season!

  • One of my favorite Christmas time recordings-puts me in such a great mood. As eccentric as Phil Spector was, I'm wondering-did he bring in live horses onto his studio for the sleigh horse sound effects? I can just imagine-"bring up the echo on the Appaloosa, and the Clydesdale's too loud!"

  • just great.

  • from xmas 1965 how well i remember, i was in the 3rd grade. also right after the 1st air cavs battle in the ia drang valley in the central highlands near the special forces camp at duc co. the 7th cav, they are not forgotten.

  • This has to be the best version of this song.

  • its not xmas without phils music

  • The phil Spector Christmas album is the best holiday music!!! Just love Darlene Love and Ronnie Spector

  • Timeless, ageless, peerless.

    Just sheer class.

  • this really is a wall of sound. It's wierdly satisfying like a really thick sandwich

  • I can't wait for the holidays. I love christmas, it's my favorite time of year.

  • This is one of my all time favorite Christmas songs! I look forward to hearing this great Ronettes tune each year.

  • best christmas song ever. Its still my favourite.

  • settenor1963...you HAVE to be from New York...and no one would question that you are die hard loyal to Ronnie Spector.

  • I love Ronnie's voice so much!!!

She brings so much more life to this song :D

  • Thank you so much for posting this!! It brings back great memories!!! Ronettes christmas songs were the first Christmas songs I heard as a child!!! Thank you!!

  • Love the way Ronnie sings "togther with you" in the last choras

  • I'm in heaven.

  • i love this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Perhaps the most awesome and fun rendition of this song! Ronnie Spector's voice and the great mixture of rock+traditional instruments made this just incredible. Sadly, it was first released in December,1963 just weeks after President Kennedy's assasination and the public was still too shaken to have any Christmas cheer so this song initially bombed!

  • my favourite christmas song though i only like the ronettes' version, i guess because the harmonies on the other versions are not as good
