First of all, Lufkin is a TOWN, not a city. Secondly, it's the worst place I have EVER lived in my entire life. I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there!!!
Lufkin is being hollowed out by retail giants. You could rename the whole town "Wal-Mart" and nobody would know the difference. Sure, it had a history as an industrial town, but that's quickly evaporating as lazy and apathetic people continue to whore themselves out to big business. All the convenience of a giant strip-mall, but with the small town bigotry and nepotism you know and love. Hey, at least there's still a lot of nice forested area. Enjoy that while it lasts.
all this video shows is downtown the zoo and the expo center. yu cant judge lufkin just by them shwing this video of three places. they didnt even shw all of downtown.
