huh this looks really promising except for one major thing - looks to me like it has a bullshit love story at the center of it all. and i say that so general because i don't know what it could be but the trailer makes me feel like no matter how it is constructed, it will end up not reflecting what i consider to be realistic. but i guess i should watch it to find out whether i'm right.
This was my favorite of the bunch - maybe my favorite movie i've seen all year (def. as far as indies are concerned). Come on back to chi-town and i'll bring everyone I know!
Saw this last weekend and the director and the guy from Grounded for Life were there and their q & a was just like the interview scenes in the movie. So so so good. Didn't really fit the bill of Slacker Bliss, but it definitely worked well amongst the other movies at the festival, which were also good, although this was clearly the cream of the crop. This movie is a masterpiece.

Kip is the first guy to introduce himself as Judas in the alley at 0:18.. Then at 0:22 - 0:23.. Then at 0:49 - 0:50 and 1:08 - 1:10..
Obviously it NOT Kip... Why would hey have KIP in a film completely Un-Related to Napoleon Dynamite?
Just goes to show how stupid people can be in identifying someone solely with a character they played in a movie..
His name is Aaron Ruell... He's an actor, photographer, and director...
