You should've got a garrisoned castle before taking Aimola. Then you could leave off Trolls, Militias, and Archers for later use, and put your Elves before the Barbarians(3 have 120 HP) and gotten perhaps 150 Sprites and place so their turn comes AFTER the Barbarians. Then, all have High Morale, and have at least 30 Elves, and don't let Sprites hit anything unless Barbarians just hit 'em 1st. Then Sprites help take care of things more quickly and help Barbarians survive. Tactics, pal!

There was no reason to lose Barbarians. If you haven't moved them to zombies, they'd survive and Trolls too, they are strong enough.

Crap, I forgot about that. Ah well, lucky for me gold just isn't an issue. Sure I would definitely benefit from more, but it's not a major issue. My issue right now is locating villains and getting my army larger. And unfortunately, trolls are for the most part the best unit I'm -allowed- to have...or are they? Dunno, see the next episodes and see what I do about my commission and trolls.

Yeah, back when I used to play this more commonly, I garrisoned every castle I took, so I always brought a crap army with me.
