Rob Dukes is to Exodus what Blaze Bayley was to Iron Maiden. Hated by most of the fans. They really should get Souza back. Rob doesn't quite have the charisma or character of any of the band's past vocalist. He largely sounds like any number of metalcore singers and is very monotonous.

They never put any thought into it. They just hired some fanboy roadie (Dukes) to scream out the vocals. There is nothing distinctive to his vocals. Steve has very distinctive Thrash voice. Something that is fun to listen to. Robs screaming fits better into some lame metalcore/hardcore band. We don't want him rapeing exodus classics in the ass.

That's a fair statement. I can agree that there are way too many thrash bands that are too similar to one another. Hell I can even agree that it didn't influence every genre in the metal category. I just wanted to make a point that Exodus has influenced a lot of bands and that may be the reason as to why thrash has a stereotyped sound and image.
