ya know, YouTube wasn't created for losers to make anonymous passive aggressive, hateful comments...if you don't like what you see ...move along...why waste your valuable guitar critic skills ? fuck holes !
@GuitarPhi1 he bought it himself, he works at film editing and is now an orphan. so shut up, you don't know what your talking about. he didn't get some trust fund.
Respond to this video... i bet he wishes he had parents to buy him that guitar too. there are actually people who do buy things by working hard..... his family is dead. your cruel
not trying to talk shit or anything, but I thought I was just an okay guitarist... and this guy is in some sort of contest? hahah.... I should have entered. Again, not trying to talk shit, this kid is only sixteen. He did a helluva job and would have beat me out as a 16 year old... maybe.
@freezazoid hey, i understand, but the truth is, he just listened to that song and put something together the day of the contest with no practice. i agree, it was just okay. he like's playing foo fighters, dispatch and lots of 80's music. he'd never played in front of anyone alone, so, was he in great form, no, but nonetheless, he is just a kid. hopefully he will show what he really can do with a guitar in the future. thanks for your candor.
I was scared shitless when I was doing my entry in Nashville. Johnny Hiland was one of the judges and even though my prescence was shit I got third place. I wish I could put up a vid, but I don't have one. I'll try next year though.
I think you did pretty good. the guy who won has been doing that for a long time and knew what he was in for. i wish you the best of luck for next year!!!
the truth is, he learned this song just that day of the contest. he never practiced at all. he had no idea what he was doing. if he at least practiced maybe he would had done better.
yeah, drew had showmanship. but still honestly, i wasn't impressed. it was all show, no real talent. he must had practiced for months to get that rock star movement down, because his playing was marginal. i mean that.
besides, drew is older and runs up and down king street. every morning, yeah, he should keep running. he was okay, for a much older guy, he was average at best. this boy is a child, only 16, self taught, so screw off
I think hometownvideos himself was that "kid".

I'm not getting what you do? Do you write your own thing to go along with the track or do you try to play whats on the track.
guitarmessiah95 1 year ago
@guitarmessiah95 hi, you make up your own leads and you can use a pedal, a slide whatever to go with the backing track.
