  • He plays better when he ballbashes

  • I looooooooooooooove roddicks forehand...its safe and has power

  • he is defintely closed. the left leg is clearly in fron and leading with the right leg behind him.

  • Roddick is probably the worst at forehand winners in the top 10.

  • @sauceyboy his forehand was one of the most powerfull on tour, but it seem´s like he´s more about control, than power nowaday´s, on groundstrokes, personally I suspect, that he´s using a different tension on his string bed these day´s..

  • Closed? is a Neutral Stance...

  • Well, his foot has passed very slightly the perpendicular line and many consider the closed stance as being a white or black zone; from the moment it crosses this 90 degree line, it is closed.

But, I'd agree with you because his foot didn't totally passed.

  • I love this video. Thanks a lot. Great insight.

  • jumps a little too high dosent it? oh well hes definedly gaining under stefanki (cant spell), and acutally hitting it loads flatter now. finally, ever since i started watching roddick, i get to see a flat roddick forehand :D

  • very very nice, and the video is only one

  • Those are videos of two different forehands.

  • Roddick rarely hits a forehand winner from the baseline anymore.

  • @quest8899 theres really no point to, its a low percentage play. unless ball had bounced before the service line or something
