  • do you get that stuck primer in the concave area on that tube? i always get a primer that needs to be pushed wit hsomething whenever i pick them up with the tube

  • Still liking this loader? How many rounds have you run through her?

  • there is no edit. instead of a pick up tube is there an automated system available?

  • Dillon sells an electric primer filler, but it's expensive(around $300).. Filling primer tubes does suck, but not bad enough I'll go out and spend $300 on a tool to do it for me.

  • instead of a pick up tube is a an automated sustem? such as in the case of the Hornady case and bullete feeders were u just chuck the cases/bullets into a bucket and it automatically sorts things out.

  • I am looking at this press but noticed the stacked primers. Kinda makes me a little uneasy, have you had any problems with it? I know it doesn't take much to set off a primer and with them stacked like that I can imagine a big boom if something went wrong.

  • The Hornady system is actually quite safe for a few reasons:

    1. There are two tubes (inner and outer)

    3. The primer slider (That picks up primers) returns (after picking up primer) under a light spring load only.

    3. This press primers when the ram is at the bottom (can fee priming force well)

    Thanks,

    Gavin
